Adjustable Securement Vest 1. Lift the cushion portion of the bench seat, and place the male end of the cam wrap buckle in the space between the seat cushion and seat back. Close and secure the seat cushion assembly. On some seats lifting the seat cushion is unnecessary, simply push the male end of the seat mount through the seat bite, between the cushion and back until it is visible from behind and below the seat. 2. Place the female end of the seat mount buckle over the top of the seat back and bring the male end around from the bottom. Click belt buckle together making sure that red release button is facing inward 3. heck to make sure that bottom hooks of seat mount are 1 to 3 inches out of the seat bite; then tighten the seat mount until an indentation is made in the top of the seat foam. Attaching Vest To Seat Mount Besi Universal Securement Vest 1. With passenger sitting down secure the upper and lower D- rings of the vest to the snap hooks on the seat mount. 2. Make sure passenger is snug against the seat bottom and back. If adjustment is necessary unhook the top D-rings from the snap hooks and raise or lower the upper yoke of the seat mount using the provided adjuster, then secure D-rings. 3. Recheck to make sure that the seat mount is tight and adjust as necessary.

Parts Specialist for ALL School Bus Bodies E-Z-ON Max Vest FOR SCHOOL BUS USE ONLY 2 3 MAX INSTRUCTIONS Read and understand instructions thoroughly prior to product use. Follow all written instructions and refer to illustrations where provided. 1. Locate the anchor point and prepare the seat for the installation (unlock and/or open the bottom seat), hardware kit included. 2. Have the person/child step into the crotch straps (or use the method that you have been trained that works best). You may find it works best to put the arms through first or use your own policy. 4 3. Place the arms through the arm holes (just as in our normal vest configuration) 4. Close the vest snuggly around the person/child using the back zipper closure. To keep the zipper locked in place, clip the mini hook into the zipper. 7a Behind the Seat 5. Release the crotch strap from the Velcro located inside the zipper closure as this secures the crotch straps in place. Note: the crotch strap must remain inside the zipper closure. 6. Lay the crotch strap and tether on top of the seat 7. Position the person/child onto the seat a. Lower the hip straps through the bight of the seat 7b 7c Behind the Seat 7d Behind the Seat b. Attach the tether strap to the anchor point c. Pull both hip straps downward and hook the straps into the D ring. Adjust as snug as possible. If the hip straps are too long, you can criss-cross them to take up any excess length. d. Adjust the tether strap so that it is taut without slack keeping the shoulders snug against the back seat 7e Behind the Seat e. Adjust the crotch strap so it is also snug f. Buttocks must be tight against the bight, and shoulders must be snug to the seat back (child must be seated as straight and tight against the seat back as possible). g. Adjust each shoulder harness so they are snug without allowing the lower hip straps to leave the pelvic area. Push in the adjuster while pulling on the shoulder strap to lengthen. Just pull the loose end of the webbing to shorten. Then replace the Velcro strap. 7g 7f
E-Z-ON Max Vest FOR SCHOOL BUS USE ONLY MAX PROPERLY INSTALLED MAX EMERGENCY RELEASE The MAX will have a red designation on the chest straps and tether to easily identify a MAX vest. EMERGENCY RELEASE To remove childs, 3 cuts of strapping are necessary. The first 2 cuts are the hip straps which are cut above the hip strap adjuster. The 3rd cut is the tether which is also cut above the Tilt Lock Adjuster. The remaining tehter and crotch straps can be used to guide and/or lower the child to safety. IMMEDIATE EMERGENCY RELEASE To remove child, 2 cuts of strapping are necessary. Cut the front straps and the crotch strap.
