Event Details 1. Junior Quiz (Mega minds): This is a technology quiz event, consisting of a preliminary round and a final round. The teams would have a common set of questions in the first round, to be answered on paper. The top 5 teams would qualify for the on-stage finals to compete with each other. Eligibility: V-VIII Maximum number of Teams per school: 2 Participants per Team: 2 2. Senior Quiz (Giga minds): This is a technology quiz event, consisting of a preliminary round and a final round. The teams would have a common set of questions in the first round, to be answered on paper. The top 5 teams would qualify for the on-stage finals to compete with each other. Eligibility: IX-XII Maximum number of Teams per school: 2 Participants per Team: 2 3. Audio/Video Editing (Cinephonic): This event will have two rounds. In the prelims Participants must prepare a vine and upload the same on the youtube and mail the link at digilogous@rdpschool.edu.in to the event authorities by 2 nd August 2017. The vines are to be made on following topics: Stereotypes prevailed in society Indian families Ping Pong ball challenges Participants must put on their own ideas and not copy the content. The prepared content should have an element of humour to amuse the viewers. Number of characters in the vine should not exceed 5. Just to respect time the video should not be more than 3 minutes. Shortlisted teams will then be called on the day of the event where the participants will be given a few short videos to dub in their own voices, which they can cut, combine and do anything they can imagine to make them interesting.
Software: KDen Live, Blender, Lightworks Eligibility: IX-XII Maximum 4. Group Discussion (Deceptively Honest): "There is a thin line between fact and fiction. Well, we aim to cross that and let you paint our canvas with your imagination (Not literally though). The task is to be done in two rounds. In first round, the participants will be given an absolutely false statement and they have to write a paragraph to prove that the given statement is true. It's about how convincing they can sound. Shortlisted teams will be selected from round one and they will sit together for a group discussion where the rules would be completely different from a mainstream discussion. Topic for the first round: Viruses are made only by the hackers Submit your draft by 31 st July 2017 at digilogous@rdpschool.edu.in. Maximum number of teams per school: 3 5. Robotics Event (Trackathon):... you just can't differentiate between a robot and the very best of humans. The task is to create a robot that can traverse through the most difficult of terrains. The robot must traverse a small part of terrain following a black line on its own. You may design two separate robots. Dimension should not exceed 9 x 9 x7. Eligibility: VII-XII Maximum Number of Teams per school: 1 Number of Participants per Team: 2 6. Web Designing (.webd) The participants will exhibit their creativity by designing an interactive webpage on the given topic using software provided. Software: Mozilla Firefox, GIMP, Text Editors (Sublime Text etc.) Languages: HTML5, CSS3 Eligibility: VII-X Maximum number of teams per school: 2

Doodling (Mishmash): Hall of mirrors, every direction you look you see something different and visually stimulating. The creation of an art from the soul is an inner journey that allows your soul to speak to you. Your soul s voice can be heard through the images, feelings and insights that surface. The task is to design a doodle on the given topic. The participants need to bring their own required materials. Eligibility: V-VIII Maximum Number of Teams per school: 2 Participants per Team: 1 9. Treasure Hunt (online event) Every story told is better if there is a treasure in the end. Participation is individual. Basic technical skills will be helpful. But at the end what will help you the most is your brain!
Puzzles will be mostly technical based and also testing your general knowledge. You will have to connect the clues with the appropriate logic to reach to the answer. Connect the pictures, look for clues and remember, Google Is Your Friend! The hunt is on! General Rules The ranking will be based on who finishes all the questions first (and that too, correctly!). Hints will be provided from time to time on the Facebook page of the event. However, posting answers and inappropriate comments will be strongly discouraged. Top three winners will be rewarded. Gaming (Game-O-Zone) Gamers don t die. They respawn. The foremost task is to record a demo of CS 1.6 or any FPS by the captain of the team. The same is to be uploaded on YouTube and the link be sent to us. Entries are to be accepted till 30th July, 2017 and the results for the same will be announced on 3rd August, 2017. Shortlisted teams will then be called on the day of the event. Participants are allowed to bring their own peripherals - Keyboards/mice/controllers. 5 minutes will be given prior to the event for installing drivers or setting up peripherals. 12. Idea Pitching (The Perfect Startup) Let s get your ideas practical. We are a bunch of arrogant investors; impress us with minimum investments and maximum profits with your magical startup ideas. Four things are a must out of the following:- Website App(Android or ios) Product(If it s a hardware product) Marketing Ideas Balance account of Cost of - {developing apps, Hiring people, Hardware needed, Uploading apps, etc.} Promotional Video A presentation Shortlisted teams will qualify for the Final Round. Submit a word document as a part of prelims containing a 400-600 word crux of what you are going to present. Submit your draft by 31 st July 2017 at digilogous@rdpschool.edu.in. Eligibility- IX-XII
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS 1. All entries must reach us by July 31, 2017 (Saturday) via email/online. 2. On the spot registration will not be entertained. 3. Participating schools to report at the reception desk at 8:00 am on August 5, 2017 (Saturday) and confirm details of participation. 4. Please gather in the auditorium for the inauguration ceremony by 8:30 am. 5. You are requested to be present for the Valediction ceremony at 1:00 pm in the school auditorium on August 5, 2017. 6. All the participants will be given a certificate of Participation. 7. First three position holders of each event will be awarded a trophy and a certificate of Appreciation except for the events Surprise Event and Gaming for which first two position holders will be awarded. 8. A school will have to participate in at least 7 events for the rolling trophy, which will be awarded to the school scoring the highest points. Posters, CDs and Models will be retained by the host school. 10. It should be ensured that participants DO NOT register for events that may possibly clash. 11. Participants are advised to stick to the allotted time for the event. Any extra time taken by the participants will disqualify them. 12. Judges decision will be final and binding. 13.
