The Kansas City Chiefs have allowed the ninth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks, but the Chiefs, who are undoubtedly angry about their shocking loss to the New York Giants last week, play much better at home. No visiting quarterback has thrown for more than two touchdowns at Arrowhead Stadium this season. Taylor has tossed multiple touchdown passes in just once contest since Week 4. He s not expected to have Kelvin Benjamin, and Jordan Matthews, at last check, was considered unlikely to suit up. That leaves Taylor with streaky career backup Deonte Thompson, rookie Zay Jones, who actually has improved (65-plus yard or a score in two straight) and the struggling Charles Clay. Consider Taylor and all his receivers to be desperation plays. LeSean McCoy is clearly the safest start. The Buffalo Bills should feature him heavily against a Kansas City defense that ranks just 13th in fantasy points allowed to running backs.

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS INJURIES TO MONITOR: Albert Wilson (knee) BYE: Week 10 A home matchup against a sagging Buffalo Bills defense that has been absolutely gashed two weeks in a row is just what the struggling Kansas City Chiefs offense needs to get back on track. The Bills have hemorrhaged the second-most fantasy points to the running back position, so Kareem Hunt should get back on track, and I think he ll rack up his first score since Week 3. Backup running backs have found the end zone against Buffalo two weeks in a row. If you re desperate, I like Charcandrick West to make some garbage-time noise. Alex Smith, deservedly criticized for a poor showing against the New York Giants last week, will silence his pro-patrick Mahomes critics with a solid rebound outing against a Bills defense that allowed a huge outing to Philip Rivers last week. Lead wideouts have gashed the Buffalo defense repeatedly in recent

weeks, but Tyreek Hill usually has quiet games at Arrowhead. The projections suggest otherwise, but Hill could surprise. The must-start Travis Kelce, on the other hand, has been money in the bank at home this season. The Chiefs team defense is a decent streaming choice. DeMarco Murray has scored in three straight against the Colts, and I think Murray will notch his first score versus an Indianapolis defense that has surrendered the fifth-most fantasy points to running backs. Since Murray remains the preferred goal-line and passing-down guy in the Titans committee backfield, Derrick Henry, despite the plus matchup, remains a risky touchdown-dependent flex option. Look for Tennessee to help Marcus Mariota rebound after his career-worst four-pick outing agianst the Steelers. The Vontae Davis-less Colts defense has yielded the eighth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks. Mariota favorites Rishard Matthews and Delanie Walker are the two safest receiver plays. The Colts have allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to wideouts, and Matthews has found the end zone in two of his last three. Even though Walker hasn t caught a touchdown pass this season, he ranks third among all tight ends in catches and receiving yards.

PLAYER QB Marcus Mariota 262 2 35 0 RB DeMarco Murray 70 1 3 28 1 RB Derrick Henry 45 0 1 10 0 WR Rishard Matthews 4 60 1 WR Corey Davis 4 49 0 WR Eric Decker 2 23 0 WR Taywan Taylor 2 15 0 TE Delanie Walker 6 67 0 PK Ryan Succop 1 1 3 3 6 P/A SK INT FUM DT Titans 23 2 1 1 0 2017 Regular Season Week 6 The Titans pounded the Colts 36-22 at Nissan Stadium. Marcus Mariota passed for 306 yards and one score, and notched a 2-0-0 rushing line. DeMarco Murray compiled a 12-40-1 rushing line and a 4-47-0 receiving line. Derrick Henry amassed a 19-131-1 rushing line and a 1-14-0 receiving line. Rishard Matthews caught four passes for 69 yards. Corey Davis missed the game due to a hamstring injury. Eric Decker logged seven receptions for 88 yards. Taywan Taylor made two grabs for 61 yards and one touchdown. Delanie Walker reeled in four passes for 17 yards. I NDIANAPOLI S COLTS INJURIES TO MONITOR: Jacoby Brissett (concussion) BYE: Week 11 At last check, Jacoby Brissett was still in concussion protocol, but he was expected to play. If Brissett doesn t receive medical clearance to suit up, Scott Tolzien would get the nod, which

would downgrade the entire Indianapolis Colts offense. In the three contests leading up to Indianapolis Week 10 bye, Brissett was playing his best football of the season, averaging 254.33 passing yards and two touchdowns per game. He s a solid streaming option versus a Tennessee Titans defense that has surrendered at least 265 passing yards and two scoring strikes in three straight outings. T.Y. Hilton, as you certainly know, has been totally boom or bust this season with his monster outings coming against weak defenses. Tennessee has coughed up the fifth-most fantasy points to wideouts, so this is a blowup opportunity but no promises. The quietly emerging Chester Rogers is coming off a 6-104-1 showing on six targets against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 10. However, the touchdown projected for him is done with low confidence. If Hilton goes off, Brissett will feed him the rock at Rogers expense. Jack Doyle is a must-start. PLAYER QB Jacoby Brissett 247 2 20 0 RB Frank Gore 52 0 2 15 0 RB Marlon Mack 30 0 4 38 0 WR T.Y. Since DeShone Kizer is starting, Duke Johnson, Kizer s favorite safety valve, is a safe flex play. Cincinnati has allowed at least 100-plus yards or at least one rushing score to enemy running backs in five straight outings, but it s hard to trust Isaiah Crowell after his 11-18-0 rushing effort last week. Crowell compiled a 7-20-0 rushing line against the Bengals in Week 4. Corey Coleman made his long-awaited return last week, amassing six catches for 80 yards on 11 targets. The Bengals, however, have surrendered the third-fewest receptions and yards to the wideout position, so dial down your expectations for Coleman. The other wideouts and tight ends aren t reliable options. By the way, Josh Gordon is eligible to return in Week 13.

Isaiah Crowell compiled a 7-20-0 rushing line and a 1-7-0 receiving line. Ricardo Louis made five grabs for 64 yards. Kenny Britt caught three passes for 52 yards. Corey Coleman missed the game due to a hand injury. David Njoku logged two receptions for 11 yards. CI NCI NNATI BENGALS INJURIES TO MONITOR: Tyler Kroft (hand), Brandon LaFell (knee) BYE: Week 6 Since the Cleveland Browns defense isn t a total doormat anymore, calling this a feel-good matchup for the Cincinnati Bengals wouldn t be accurate. Even though Leonard Fournette (Jaguars) gashed the Browns for a 100-yard game last week, they re still very tough against the run. Cleveland has allowed just four rushing scores on the season. Joe Mixon has found the end zone in two of his last three but hasn t eclipsed the 50-yard mark since Week 5. I m not

optimistic about Mixon scoring here since the Cincinnati passing attack should do the heavy lifting in this one. Giovani Bernard has been stuck on eight or fewer touches per game all season. Getting back to the Bengals aerial attack, look for Andy Dalton to attack a weak Cleveland secondary early and often mainly with A.J. Green and Tyler Kroft. Brandon LaFell has been hit or miss lately with one score in his last four games, but LaFell is worth a look if you re desperate. The Bengals team defense is a solid streaming option. Atlanta has been playing very well at home, and the expectations for most Tampa Bay Buccaneers fantasy stars are low. The Falcons have yielded the sixth-fewest fantasy points to wideouts, but the must-start Mike Evans should remain in starting lineups. If Atlanta gives up a wideout touchdown, it usually goes to an opposing team s No. 1 wideout. DeSean Jackson, who has some chemistry with Ryan Fitzpatrick, is worth a look as a flex option, but DJax is boom-or-bust as you surely know. The last three quarterbacks to face the Falcons on their home field didn t top the 190-yard mark, so don t expect much from Fitzpatrick. Cameron Brate averaged three targets per contest in FitzMagic s two starts. Unless something changes, don t bother starting Brate until/if Jameis Winston comes back. Looking at the ground game, Doug Martin, despite receiving big worklods, continues to struggle. He hasn t scored since Week 6 and has compiled just 89 rushing yards on 39 carries in the last two weeks despite

drawing favorable matchups. Martin won t get on track against an Atlanta defense that has yielded the 10th-fewest fantasy points to running backs. PLAYER QB Jameis Winston -- -- -- -- -- -- -- QB Ryan Fitzpatrick 202 1 10 0 RB Doug Martin 45 0 0 0 0 RB Charles Sims 10 0 3 28 0 WR Mike Evans 6 67 1 WR DeSean Jackson 3 42 0 WR Adam Humphries 2 20 0 TE Cameron Brate 1 11 0 TE O.J. Jameis Winston passed for 261 yards and three touchdowns. Mike Glennon (Bears) threw for 75 yards and one score. Doug Martin missed the contest due to a hamstring injury. Peyton Barber compiled an 11-31-0 rushing line and a 4-24-0 receiving line. Mike Evans hauled in 11 passes for 150 yards and two touchdowns. Adam Humphries made five grabs for 46 yards and one score. Cameron Brate caught five balls for 43 yards and one touchdown. ATLANTA FALCONS INJURIES TO MONITOR: Devonta Freeman (concussion), Julio Jones (knee) BYE: Week 5

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense doesn t travel well, so look for solid performances from the Atlanta Falcons fantasy stars especially Matt Ryan and Julio Jones. Ryan, in his last four games, has averaged 244.7 passing yards and two touchdown tosses per contest. Tampa Bay has coughed up the third-most passing yards and the 13th-most touchdown passes. The Buccaneers also have surrendered the second-most fantasy points to wideouts, so Jones, who is way overdue for his second touchdown of the season, has a good chance to hit paydirt. While I like Mohamed Sanu s chances for a scoring grab he has found the end zone in three of his last four Sanu s reduced workload in recent weeks is troubling. From Week 8 through Week 11, he averaged just 3.8 catches, 40 receiving yards and 4.5 targets per contest. Austin Hooper s production has been up and down during the last month and half, and I m expecting a down outing from him versus a Tampa Bay defense that has yielded the fifth-fewest fantasy points and just three touchdowns to the tight end position. Assuming Devonta Freeman receives medical clearance to play, he s a must-start, and Tevin Coleman is relegated to flex status in a plus matchup. If Freeman sits, Coleman is a muststart in a workhorse role for the third straight week. The Falcons team defense is a solid option. The vastly improved Patriots have allowed 17 or fewer points in five straight contests, so keep your expectations for what likely will be the Matt Moore-led Miami Dolphins offense in check. New England hasn t allowed a quarterback to throw for more than 237 yards and one score in four straight. Jarvis Landry is a must-start since he has found the end zone in six of his last seven, and Kenny Stills, a Moore favorite, is worth a look as a flex. However, Malcolm Butler probably will put the clamps on Jay Cutler favorite DeVante Parker. It s hard to gauge which one of the Miami Dolphins two running backs will shine from week to week. The Patriots have tightened up against the run, so don t expect big outings from either one. If you need to start one, I like Williams a little better because of his receiving prowess.

Tom Brady, Brandin Cooks and Rob

Gronkowski are all must-starts. Dion Lewis, who is currently operating as the primary runner, is a solid start, and Rex Burkhead apparently has supplanted James White (six or fewer touches in his last three games) as the main change-of-pace guy. Philadelphia should roll easily. The engine that drives the Bears offense, Jordan Howard, won t have much success against an Eagles defense that has yielded the thirdfewest fantasy points to enemy tailbacks. I don t see any fantasy diamonds in the rough in the still undermanned Chicago aerial attack. It wouldn t surprise me if Mitch Trubisky, battling a Philadelphia defense that has yielded the 12th-fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks, tossed a touchdown pass in garbage time. Who will catch it? PHILADELPHIA EAGLES INJURIES TO MONITOR: Zach Ertz (hamstring), Jake Elliott (concussion) BYE: Week 10 The Chicago Bears defense isn t a doormat, but it s hard to see Chicago having much success stopping a Philadelphia Eagles offense that has been a scoring machine. The Bears rank 16th in fantasy points allowed to enemy tailbacks, and they ve been softer versus the run in road outings. Look for a heavy dose of Jay Ajayi. Red-zone specialist Corey Clement has scored three times

in his last two games, and, since game script should work in favor of Philadelphia all afternoon, he looks like a safe start and should rack up another score. Since the ground game will dominate, the Eagles won t need a monster outings from must-start guys Carson Wentz and Zach Ertz. We ll see. The Panthers haven t been as dominant away from home, but this matchup against a struggling New York Jets defense has more positives than negatives. A well-rested Cam Newton should keep rolling against a New York defense that has yielded at least 254 passing yards and multiple touchdown passes in five of its last six outings, and the must-start Devin Funchess looks primed for a nice outing against a Jets defense that has coughed up the 10thmost fantasy points to wideouts. Russell Shepard, however, struggled with drops and concentration lapses in the Dolphins game and shouldn t be trusted right now. Barring a setback, Greg Olsen will

return, but it s hard to gauge how many snaps Carolina will let him play. Will Olsen be rusty? New York has surrendered the seventh-most fantasy points to tight ends, so Olsen s matchup is a good one. Start him at your own risk. The Jets have been solid against the run at home, so this matchup favors pass-catching back Christian McCaffrey (on pace for 91 receptions) over early-down plodder Jonathan Stewart. NEW YORK JETS INJURIES TO MONITOR: Matt Forte (knee) BYE: Week 11 The New York Jets offense played respectably overall with 38-year-old Josh McCown at the helm, but all Jets fantasy stars should be downgraded in this matchup against a very good Carolina Panthers defense. Carolina has surrendered the second-fewest fantasy points to enemy tailbacks, so Bilal Powell, Matt Forte (if he plays) and Elijah McGuire are all weak starts. The Panthers are usually solid against the pass, too, but usually allow a couple of touchdown passes in most contests. McCown clearly isn t going to light up a Carolina defense that has allowed the

fifth-fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks. Robby Anderon, McCown s favorite target, is the most likely wideout to score in a challenging matchup. The San Francisco 49ers have hemorrhaged the second-most rushing yards and the most fantasy points to tailbacks, but the Seattle Seahawks backfield remains a complete hard-to-predict mess. Mike Davis and C.J. Prosise won t play. Will Eddie Lacy (three rushes for two yards against the Atlanta Falcons last week) get the start? Will Thomas Rawls (healthy scratch for the Atlanta game) get the start? Will J.D. McKissic get the start? Keep an eye on this. One of these guys could go off if given enough touches and exceed our projections. I d give McKissic or Rawls a shot if one of them gets the start, but I don t trust Lacy. BYE: Week 11 Riding a one-game winning streak, the San Francisco 49ers are content to keep rolling with C.J. Beathard for now. That s right barring an Beathard injury, no Jimmy Garoppolo under center this week. As usual the only reliable 49ers offensive guy is Carlos Hyde. The Seattle Seahawks rank fifth in fantasy points allowed to running backs. However, the Seahawks have been softer against the run in road contests, and Hyde shredded their defense with 124 yards on the ground in Seattle back in Week 2. Should you chase his monster outing from last week? The improved Los Angeles Rams defense has coughed up just three touchdown passes to visiting quarterbacks, and none of them passed for more than 225 yards. However, if the Rams are missing No. 2 cornerback Kayvon Webster and slot cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman, this matchup is more promising for Brees. Michael Thomas will draw Trumaine Johnson, but Thomas remains a must-start. If Webster is out, Ted Ginn has upside as a flex. Of course it doesn t take a rocket scientist to figure out that New Orleans will use heavy

LOS ANGELES RAMS INJURIES TO MONITOR: Robert Woods (shoulder) BYE: Week 8

With Robert Woods out of the lineup this week and next week for sure and no sure thing in the receiver corps right now, I m guessing the Los Angeles Rams will lean heavily on the must-start Todd Gurley. The improved New Orleans Saints defense ranks 14th in fantasy points allowed to tailbacks, but New Orleans has struggled against the top-level runners. Sammy Watkins probably will take over the lead wideout, but he has been limited to 45 or less yards in six of his last seven outings. The Saints could be without stud cornerback Marshon Lattimore, which obviously would help Watkins, but the speedster is a risky play. Jared Goff has better chemistry with slot guy Cooper Kupp, which is why I think he s the favorite for a score. New Orleans, however, has surrendered just five wideout scores, but that was with Lattimore in the lineup. Even though Los Angeles head coach Sean McVay loves to use tight ends, Tyler Highbee and Gerald Everett remain non-factors. The Cardinals haven t faced many elite runners this season, and Fournette gashed a supposeldy top-notch Cleveland Browns run defense for a 100-yard game last week. A soft Arizona secondary has yielded the sixth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks and wideouts, respectively, but big games from Blake Bortles and Marqise Lee, who will draw shadow coverage from Patrick Peterson, are unlikely. The switch obviously makes it very difficult to make fantasy forecasts. Second-year pro Paxton Lynch will make his third career start. While Lynch showed an ability to get the ball somewhat consistently to Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders in two 2016 starts, they both come with more risk than ususal despite a plus matchup against an Oakland Raiders defense that has been leaky against the pass. The quarterback change is a shame for Thomas, because he had scored in all three of Brock Osweiler s starts. Start Thomas and

Sanders at your own risk. Will Musgrave get rid of the Broncos unpredictable three-man backfield? We ll see. INJURIES TO MONITOR: None BYE: Week 10 With a virtually non-existent ground game don t bother with Marshawn Lynch, DeAndre Washington or Jalen Richard against a Denver Broncos defense that has allowed the seventhfewest fantasy points to tailbacks the Oakland Raiders offense is basically Derek Carr playing pitch and catch with Michael Crabtree and Jared Cook. Oh yeah, Amari Cooper shows up once in a great while. Even though Crabtree s matchup against a Denver defense that has yielded the thrid-fewest fantays points to wideouts is a toughie, I like his chances to score at home. The Broncos, on the other hand, have coughed up the second-most fantasy points to tight ends, so Cook should have a nice game. What about Cooper? Seriously? His numbers have been barely medicore since that Week 7 blowup game against the Kansas City Chiefs. DeAndre Washington compiled a 1-4-0 rushing line and a 0-0-0 receiving line. Jalen Richard cobbled together a 2-7-0 rushing line and a 1-20-0 receiving line.

Michael Crabtree missed the game because of a bruised lung. Amari Cooper caught two passes for nine yards. Johnny Holton s only catch of the game went for a 64-yard touchdown. What could possibly go wrong? A lot. What could possibly go right? Not much. Aaron Jones is still at least a week away from returning, and Ty Montgomery, at last check, was considered a long shot to play. Since the Pittsburgh Steelers have yielded the sixth-fewest fantasy points to running backs, Jamaal Williams should be considered a weak start. Pittsburgh also has allowed the third-fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks and the fifth-fewest fantasy points to wideouts, so Brett Hundley, his favorite target, Davante Adams and Jordy Nelson are all very weak starts. Adams is worth a look for desperate owners, since he s the only wideout who has chemistry with Hundley.

PITTSBURGH STEELERS INJURIES TO MONITOR: JuJu Smith-Schuster (hamstring) BYE: Week 9 The Green Bay Packers defense, which has feasted on some soft offenses, isn t as good as the numbers suggest. Must-starts Le Veon Bell and Antonio Brown should both have nice outings, and Brown has the potential for an eruption game against a Packers secondary that has yielded a suspect eighth-most fantasy points to wideouts. Ben Roethlisberger and JuJu Smith Schuster are also strong plays. Roethsliberger could throw for well over 300 yards, but he probably won t have to since it s very doubtful that the Packers offense will put up a fight. The Steelers team defense is a strong starting option.

The Baltimore Ravens defense has yielded the second-fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks and the second fewest fantasy points to wideout, respectively. Baltimore also has allowed just three touchdown passes from visiting quarterbacks. Tom Savage is clearly a very weak play. The Ravens limited Antonio Brown (Steelers) to four catches at M&T Bank Stadium back in Week 4. We all know Savage will pepper DeAndre Hopkins with targets. Hopkins has scored in six of his last seven games, but Baltimore has allowed just one touchdown to a visiting wideout. Should you sit Hopkins? Only if you are absolutely loaded at wideout. Since the Ravens have yielded the eighth-most

fantasy points to tight ends, C.J. Fiedorowicz is the favorite for a touchdown. Balimore ranks 18th in fantasy points and has ceded the eighth-most rushing yards to the position. Lamar Miller should cobble together a decent fantasy RB2/RB3 outing. INJURIES TO MONITOR: BYE: Week 10 BALTIMORE RAVENS The Baltimore Ravens 32nd-ranked passing offense will battle the Houston Texans 26th-rated pass defense. What s going to happen? Joe Flacco s best game to date was a 261-2-2 effort against the Tennessee Titans in Week 9. This matchup is a great one on paper, but don t expect Flacco to rack up huge numbers since the Texans offense won t be much of a threat. Mike
