THE EVENT REGULATION ARTICLE 1 ASAC BASCO BEARNAIS Association is organising: Friday 18 th May 2018 and Saturday 20 th May 2018: a touristic rally and track sessions on Pau Grand Prix circuit. Sunday 21 th May 2018: Exhibition and concours d elegance of vintage and prestige cars as well as sport cars on gp pau circuit ARTICLE 2: QUALIFYING CARS Any vintage car in perfect working condition, which displays all of its original characteristics and which was built before 1975 (with exceptionally agreed dispensations). The Rally is also open to prestige cars and sports 1976-2016. Cars without registration numbers will not be allowed. The Organisation reserves the right to refuse any vehicle which does not conform to the spirit of the event. ARTICLE 3 : DUTIES Participants must conform to the terms of the Highway Code, as well as to any Municipal laws, of towns & villages which are driven through, in addition to these articles. Any offence committed, independently of any penalty which may be imposed by the relevant authority, will be penalised by the organisers. Furthermore, they should respect the signaling which may be supported by flags and road signs which will be advised to the participants prior to their departure. ARTICLE 4 : INSURANCE In accordance with the terms of the statutory decrees 2006.554 dated 16/05/2006, and the ministerial order dated 07/08/2006 and 27/10/2006, an insurance policy must be in place to meet (in the case of accidents, fire or explosions occurring during the event) the financial costs of civil liabilities which could be incumbent to the organisers and the participants, due to physical injuries or material damage caused to spectators, third parties or the participants themselves. The said policy must also include the civil responsibility in relation to all persons involved in the security of the event, organisers and stewards. ARTICLE 5: ADVERTISING The organizers reserve the right to enter into any agreement they consider necessary to promote brands of their choice and to advertise these brands on the rally plates which will be allocated to the participants. Any other form of advertising, except for that agreed by the organisers, is strictly prohibited (unless formal agreement has been obtained from the organisers). ARTICLE 6: CHECKS The participants must present themselves at the organisation desk at the Chateau de Morlanne, in possession of their registration confirmation, driving licence, log book and insurance documents, in order to obtain the documents necessary to ensure the good order of the event (timetable, detailed itinerary, accommodation booking details), as well as their attributed numbers which they will be requested to fix to their vehicles themselves. ARTICLE 7 : SCHEDULE The event will conform to the traditions of courtesy & politeness, which are standard practice amongst vintage car lovers. THE TOURISTIC RALLY The touristic rally will use a route which will mainly follow secondary roads through the Béarn area. A road book will be given to each participant Participants accept full responsibility for their involvement in this event, which is that of a touristic rally and not a sporting event. They agree to follow the Highway Code strictly and not to make claims of any nature against the organisers. TRACK SESSION All the teams registered at the track sessions on Pau track will have access to the track according to their grid.

Outside of these track sessions, a place in the Paddock will be allocated to them by the organiser. All the participants had to comply with the acces instructions to the track and return to the same place, after each track session. Each car on the track must be equipped with a towing hitch. The speed limit is 20 km/h on the paddock. Only the cars with a coloured sticker of their race affixed on their windshield will be allowed to start. The times of the place on the start grid will be determined later. Each driver must be informed of the conventional flags waved by track marshals during the track sessions. We remind you the rules on racing track for any damage to the vehicule: everyone is responsible for their material damages and not in a way shall not be held liable for one or others participants, except in cases of gross negligence. Each driver or passenger will race on his own responsibility. By their commitment, the participants must have read and agree the disclaimer for all the members of the crew vehicule, complied with the rules and agree to release the contest organizers, for any consequent damages or personal injuries as well as cars and guardrails. During each track sessions, one passenger is allowed. Helmets are obligatory for all the drivers and the passengers. The passengers must be aged 16 and the drivers must hold a valid driving license. The organisers reserve the right to select vehicles and to refuse any vehicle which does not correspond to the spirit of the event. The closing date for registrations is April 15th 2018. Any request for registration received after the date with corresponding payment will be refused.
