All electrcal wrng and groundng should be done n accordance wth natonal and local codes If electrcal supply s damaged, t must only be replaced by the manufacturer agent or a smlar qualfed person n order to avod a hazard or ts servce Ths dshwasher must be connected to a hot water supply between 120 F (49 C)-149 F (65 C) Ths temperature range provdes the best washng results and shortest cycle tme Temperature should not exceed 149 F (65 C) to prevent damage to dshes Ths applance must be postoned close to an electrcal power supply The applance s to be connected to the water supply usng new hoses Old hoses should not be reused GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS For a permanently connected dshwasher: Ths applance must be connected to a grounded metal, permanent wrng system, or an equpment-groundng conductor must be run wth the crcut conductors and connected to the equpment-groundng termnal or lead on the applance 2

PREPARE CUPBOARD OPENING 2 Select a locaton as close to snk as possble for easy connectons to water and dran lnes 3 Ths dshwasher s desgned to ft a standard dshwasher openng as shown below The dshwasher should not be nstalled more than 10 ft (3m) from the snk for proper dranage If dshwasher s to be nstalled n a corner, a mnmum of 2 n (50mm) s requred between the dshwasher and an adjacent a wall To allow for proper clearance of plumbng and electrcal measure a 4"x4" target area (fgure #1 ) on the sde of the cabnet where the cabnet meets the back wall Usng a 2 1/2" dameter hole saw drll a hole (n the target area) wthn 4" from the floor, and no more than an 1 5/8" from the back wall If there s a floor n the cabnet under the snk, t wll also be necessary to drll or cut through the floor to connect the water and dran under the snk Falure to cut ths openng wll result n the dran hose nterferng wth the rear wall not allowng for flush mount nstallaton fgure #1 fgure #2 I Must have ths openng (on ether sde) to route plumbng and electrcal For FLUSH INSTALL, you may remove the Cabnet brace nsde of Ensure the floor under the dshwasher s at the same level as the rest of the room to allow for any servce requrements,

LEVEL DISHWASHER Check that the dshwasher s level (Fg A) Attach level on top front openng of tub from sde to sde Check that the dshwasher s plumb (Fg B) Attach level on front sde of cabnet Fg C -It Check that gap between door and tub s equal on both sde's (L, R) (Fg C) Fg D If the dshwasher s not level or both sde gap s not equal, adjust four levelng feet up or down untl dshwasher s level and both sde gap s equal (Fg D) SECURE DISHWASHER TO THE COUNTERTOP Secure dshwasher to the countertop or the cabnet When the countertop s made of wood or wll not be damaged by drllng, use Step 9-1 When the countertop s made of grante, marble or others whch could be damaged by drllng, Use Step 9-2 STEP 9-1 STEP 9-2 1 Locate the nstallaton brackets n the slot 2 Bend the brackets to secure them to the dshwasher tub 3 Secure the dshwasher to the countertop wth the screws provded through the holes n the bracket 1 Remove the Plastc Bushng 2 Drve Wood Screw through the hole (Install Bracket s located between tub and sde cabnet by manufacturer) 3 Renstall Plastc Bushngs 9
_xll DRAIN LINE CONNECTION 1 If the end of the dran hose does not ft to the dran lne, use an adapter (not suppled) that must be resstant to heat and detergent and may be obtaned from a plumbng shop 2 There are 2 typcal connectons as shown n Fg E & F (b There may be other optons than shown here for connecton of the dran hose The dran connecton must meet local plumbng regulatons (2) The S trap spgot must be drlled out cleanly and free of obstructon to ts maxmum nternal dameter, f used for dranage (3) To prevent syphonng, one of the followng nstructon methods must be followed: Fg E: Connecton to Dsposer or Waste Tee Snk Dshwasher I Dran Hose In case Fg F, Cut off the Dran Hose n a dotted lne Mn 20" (508mm) Mn 30" (770ram) Max 40" (1000mm) Fg F: Connecton to Ar Gap Follow local codes and ordnances Snk Ar Gap Dshwasher Do not exceed 10 ft (3m) dstance to dran Dran Hose Do not connect dran lnes from other devces to the dshwasher dran hose 10
WATER SUPPLY CONNECTION 1 Before connectng, turn off the water supply 2 After fttng the Elbow nto the Inlet Valve, slde the Flexble Stanless Tube or Copper Tube nto the Elbow, Tghten the nut and make sure that the lne s not knked or sharply bent netwve Ebow!!!!! WaterSupplyTube ELECTRICAL POWER CONNECTION,, Before begnnng, turn off electrcal power to the unt at the crcut breaker Remove the Juncton Cover and then Install the Stran Relef 3 Twst Wre Connectors tghtly on the wres Wrap each connecton wth Electrcal tape JunctonCover - I j j 4 Check agan and make sure that all wres are connected correctly, black to black, whte to whte, green to green (ground to ground) 5 Replace the Juncton Cover WreConnector JunctonCase StranRelef - blackto black _ greento green (groundto ground) whteto whte FINAL CHECK 1 Turn electrcal power back on at the crcut breaker 2 Turn house water supply back on 3 Operate the dshwasher through one cycle (Quck cycle s recommended) to check for water leaks and operatng condtons 4 Replace the Lower Cover 11
