Introduction Introduction Sportive Challenge At the OPA Presidential Conference on Friday, 27th of October 2017 it has been decided, that we have the honour to organize the first OPA U-16 Cup in Liechtenstein. The current Seven Nations Cup U-16 shall be changed to the OPA U-16 Cup and welcoming ten nations. Malbun already made its reputation in the past in organizing FIS- and Spring-Races in the international Race-Calendar. Therefore we are looking forward to being able to also arrange the OPA U-16 Cup. The promotion of young talents has big importance for the Liechtenstein Ski Association. Requirements herefore are ideal training conditions and an infrastructure that allows such sportive challenges. To further enjoy the good reputation, it is necessary to realize international competitions. Nevertheless the Organization of this event is a sportive challenge for us and only is possible due to a big number of volunteers. Special thanks goes to all the numerous volunteers and sponsors that took part to make the realization of this successful event possible. Let us be the best ambassadors for the Principality of Liechtenstein and giving a warm welcome to our guests. Alexander Ospelt President LSV Page 5
