This player demonstrates the desire to take their hockey to an elite level. Work Ethic Award This is awarded to the student from each school that puts forth the most energy on a daily basis. This player work hard even when nobody is watching them. Leadership Award This is awarded to the student from each school that other students look up to as a role model. This student has demonstrated responsibility both on and off the ice and in the classroom. Citizenship Award This is awarded to the student from each school that portray sportsmanship, dedication, and is a model to the community of Abbotsford. The Golden Glove Award This is awarded to the goalie from each school with the most improvements from the September test to the June test. This goalie will also demonstrate a high level of ability in all goaltending skills while displaying the attitude to want to grow in their goaltending development. Academic Improvement Award This is awarded to the student from each school who has had the most improvement in their academic classes from their first report card to the end of the year. Gladiator Fitness Award This is awarded to the student from each school who has improved the most in their dryland programs. This student takes great pride in their physical health and fitness levels. This student showed great improvement from their first test to their last test which displays a high level in speed, agility, and quickness. For the younger players they show great effort and attitude in their P.E. class and for the older players they show daily improvements and dedication to their hockey specific training.
