FROM THE PRINCIPAL For the past nine years as Principal of St Andrew s Anglican College, I have had the pleasure of watching our sporting program go from strength to strength. With a focus on enabling students to move confidently into their futures, we aim to create opportunities for our students through an extensive range of activities on offer. Nowhere else do we see the strength in relationships greater than on a sporting field; a team who work with their coach and parents supporting them to bring out the best in all they do. To see our First XV walk out onto the field as a united bunch of young men, brings a sense of pride to the College. Our Rugby Union teams have developed over the College s short history. We now have a full size Rugby field and through the introduction of our St Andrew s Rugby Club (Saints Rugby), along with Mr Jim Scott as the Head of Rugby, I look forward to seeing this sport taken to a new level. I look forward to partnering with families and businesses to make this expansion become a reality so that we can offer this opportunity to not only our students but to those who share our passion in our wider community. FROM THE HEAD OF RUGBY As we embark on our exciting journey as Saints Rugby club I would like to offer families and businesses the opportunity to become a sponsor of Saints Rugby. Our sponsorship packages run on a two year deal and offer you the opportunity to sponsor a specific age group, as opposed to a general club sponsorship. The sponsorship revenue will be very important to the running of the Club and will assist with the provision of kit for our various teams. Sponsorship will cost $2500 +GST per year and all sponsor names and logos will be listed on the players training shirts. SPONSORSHIP AT ST ANDREW S St Andrew s as a fourteen year old school has a relatively short history of sponsorship but has had a dedicated group of local businesses recognise the benefits of supporting children s wellbeing through an active lifestyle. Many business have supported our sporting program over many years. Sponsors have enjoyed benefits such as logos on training shirts and exposure in our community through online and print mediums along with exposure as a business that supports the community. We are now extending sporting sponsorship to a more specific level with the introduction of our Saints Rugby Club. We look forward to working with families and businesses to develop this new relationship, where the rewards are mutually beneficial. Saints Rugby is seeking sponsors for nine teams and your contribution will ensure that each player involved will receive a specially designed kit that they will be proud to wear.
BENEFITS In return for your generous support, Sponsors will receive the following benefits: Rights to be the sole sponsor of a specific team Logo/family name on the Rugby Training Shirt to be given to every player in the Club Logo/family name to appear in all emails relating to the specific team Logo/family name on website on Rugby pages and on supporters page with links to business if applicable Logo/family name to appear on social media posts where applicable Logo/family name to be recognised in newsletter when applicable Recognition at yearly Sport Awards Celebration Recognition in annual College magazine, Ascent Ability to advertise relationship with Saints Rugby in business promotion YOUR INVESTMENT Saints Rugby is seeking nine sponsors to each contribute the below annual fee with a committment to contribute for two consecutive years. Saints Rugby Team Sponsorship $2500 +GST pa Sponsors will be allocated on a first come basis with consideration given to the nature of the business which must be consistent with the values and image of St Andrew s Anglican College. If two like businesses wish to sponsor, eg realestate agencies, consideration will be given to as to exclusivity in consultation with all parties.
