CONDITIONS The Derby is open to four, five and six-year-old horses. The Derby Open entry fee is 450,00 and the Derby Non Pro entry fee is 300,00. Those eligible and who would like to enter the Int. Open division, will have to pay an additional 200,00; those eligible and who would like to enter the Int. Non Pro division will have to pay an additional 175,00. A Non Pro rider who would like to enter the Int. Open division will also have to enter the Open division. Those riders eligible to enter the Ltd. Open and Ltd. Non Pro division may not enter the superior divisions. Should a Ltd. Open or Ltd. Non Pro rider want to enter the Intermediate divisions, he/she may do so without necessarily having to enter the Derby Open or the Derby Non Pro divisions, as was requested in the past. 40% of the competitors, with a maximum number of 15 competitors (with up to 60 horses entered in the division) or 20 competitors (with over 61 horses entered in the division) will qualify for the finals. For the Derby Open, Non Pro, and Int. Open divisions, 2/3 of the finalists will be in the money; for the Derby Int. Non Pro, Ltd. Open and Ltd. Non Pro divisions, NRHA payback percentages will be applied. The guaranteed prize money for the Derby Open Champion is 12.000,00. For the Derby Non Pro Champion, the guaranteed prize money is 6.000,00. The finals for all derby divisions will be in a seeded format (the highest score in the go round will be last to draw in the finals). Judges: 5 NRHA Judges + Equipment Judge Stalls must be booked and entries must be sent by fax (by filling in the attached Entry Form!) by April 23rd 2009 to the COMER Office (+39 421-71955). Entries requesting message confirmation receipt may also be sent by email to: info@ teamforyou.net. Changes in bookings and entries may only be made through the Office. It will not be possible to cancel stall bookings after April 23rd. Horses may arrive at the Fiera di Reggio Emilia fairgrounds from May 9th 2009. Horses may be entered only through the Show Office by 7 pm the day before the class. Following this deadline, entries will not be accepted. Only one pass for each contribution paid will be assigned. The pass allows entry to the fairgrounds and access to the finals. Extra passes will not be assigned. Parking passes for cars and trucks may be bought when entering the fairgrounds. The cost of theses are 10,00 for cars and vans and 20,00 for trucks. Theses passes allow the vehicles to be parked in the fairground premises during the show. When entering a class, it is compulsory to present the riders FISE show license, the horses Passport, the 2009 IRHA membership card, the horses Competition License and all documents as specified by the NRHA Terms and Conditions in the following paragraph. N.B. : According to Sanitary Laws & Conditions as of November 2006, all horses must have a valid Coggins Test (as well as Passaport and Mod. 4). NRHA COMPETITION The riders that would like to enter the NRHA approved Derby and the NRHA approved classes must, as per NRHA rules, present the NRHA Competition License and a copy of the NRHA membership card both of the OWNER AND OF THE RIDER to the Show Office. Without these, it will not be possible to enter these classes. If necessary, we request that you apply for these directly from the NRHA Office - USA. Log on to the www.itrha.com website where you will find all the instructions for the filling in of these forms and how to send them. When booking stalls, only those that would like to enter the NRHA approved classes will have to fill in the form with all the requested data. Entries are not considered confirmed. It is not possible to request licenses or to renew membership during the show. The NRHA ancillary approved classes are valid for qualification for the 2010 NRHA European Affiliate Championships. USE OF WARM UP AND SHOW PEN During the nights between Monday 11th and Tuesday 12th (the nights before the first go round of the open and the first go round of the non pro derby), the show pen will be open only to the horse and rider combinations that will be showing the following day as of midnight. The other horse and rider combinations during this time may only access the warm up pen. Further information regarding the use of the show pen will be communicated during the show itself. The Show Committee is not responsible for any accidents, damages or thefts that may occur to the riders, companions, horses or accidents that these may cause to others.
