We believe this film would be of interest to members of the Kent Valley Hockey Association and we d like to invite you to see this exciting action-packed, familyfriendly hockey movie. Directed by Éric Tessier and winner of the People's Choice Award at the Toronto International Film Festival s Kids section, The Pee-Wee offers an insightful glimpse into the lives of hockey parents and the bonds and friendships formed by sportsmanship. In this uplifting story, 12-year-old Janeau and his father have moved to a new town after the tragic death of his mother. As they struggle to adjust, Janeau is befriended by Julie, a goalie for the local pee-wee hockey team, The Lynx, who are preparing for a province-wide championship. This stirring hockey comedy will have audiences cheering for The Lynx as they race to settle their differences both on and off the ice before the championship. The protagonist Janeau is played by on-the-rise actor Antoine-Olivier Pilon, who starred in Xavier Dolan s Mommy, and who offers a compelling performance. Watch Trailer Here.
