Relax and enjoy the coastline as you glide past casuarinas-lined beaches, the majestic Tamarin Bay, paradise of surfers and haven for dolphins, which are often seen playing and swimming beside the boat. Experience the transparency and various shades of green and blue of the lagoon as well as the unusual shape of the coral sand island-ile aux Bénitiers. The approach to the awe-inspiring Le Morne Mountain from the distance is simply breathtaking. This rock, which seems to spring out of the sea, is said to have been the refuge of slaves fleeing from their masters. As a monument of the slavery period, the Morne Brabant site has been inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2008. CASELA YEMEN NATURE ESCAPADE For some fun and excitement in the heart of nature, Casela Nature and Leisure Park offers a great alternative to a day on the beach: walking, trekking and admiring unusual fauna amidst endemic and exotic countryside. Highlight Activity: Walk with the lions This is a unique opportunity to meet, touch and walk with the lions. Watch them playing, eating and climbing on trees. Get your picture taken while touching the soft fur and feel the strength of this wild animal. You will experience a myriad of emotions made possible thanks to the team of professionals that watches over this activity. Participants must be at least 1,50m tall and must be fit for a 1 hour walk through the savannahlandscape. All participants need to follow the instructions of our guides, while dealing with the animals. This is very important for the safety of this activity. The lions used to participate in the Interactions and walking activities and have now developed into adults. We have had the pleasure to have several Mauritian lions born here since 2012. The Big cats can be seen climbing trees, chasing rabbits, playing amongst themselves or doing what they do best just letting the day go by If you are lucky enough, you may spy one of the 3
keepers spending time with the Big cats and playing with them. All you have to do is keep you camera ready! All our outings are accompanied by a guide and a driver present on the vehicle and a security brief is given by the guide before the drive starts. Conditions apply. Your day will be full of surprises: the longest zipline circuit in the Indian Ocean with Nepalese bridges, double and triple ziplines, swimming through a canyon, and other exciting features make this circuit so much more than just a hiking tour. 4
Sessions: 09h15 and 10h45 The programme Le Full includes hanging bridges, double ziplines, ziplines of 400m, 300m and 200m, walk, zipline landing in water, swim, a BBQ lunch and a swim through a canyon. This circuit has been set up in a way that the participants can easily progress and, even though some challenges have been included, it remains within the reach of everyone. Maximum number of pax per session: 10 Segway An ecological means of transport used to discover our African reserve and come across animals in their natural environment without disturbing them. Segway reacts to the movements of the body and gives the possibility to discover the beautiful landscape without physical effort but therefore with a lot of fun. The tour will start with a short initiation circuit to make the participants get used to this innovative vehicle. Afterwards the guide leads them on a 45min tour through the Safari Park. ISLAND RETREAT Ile-aux-Cerfs is a real open-air retreat off the fishing village of Trou-D eau-douce on the East coast. You will be driven from your hotel to Pointe-Maurice and transferred within minutes by shuttle boat to the island. There are no deer (cerfs) remaining on this island of 79 hectares, covered with casuarinas, coconut trees and flower bushes. As you step off the boat, you are greeted by white sandy beaches for sunbathing and translucent turquoise waters for swimming and snorkelling. With a supplement you can hire water skis, pedal-boats, sailboards and laser dinghies to practise your favourite water sports at the boathouse. There is a bar and lunch will be provided at Paul & Virginie, restaurant. Board the shuttle back to the mainland in the afternoon to get back to your coach. SEA KART This activity offers you the possibility to discover the beauty of the lagoons riding your own SEAKART. This activity is done in the crystal clear lagoon of the west coast. Upon arrival, there is a briefing with a qualified monitor about the organization, the security rules and the piloting. Along with the monitor, the guests will be able to reach the beach near the base where the seakarts will be waiting for them with a monitor's help. He will help them to take place in their seakart. They will then leave for a splendid hiking in the direction of the lagoon of Benitier's Island, le Morne and also the famous coast of Flic en Flac. The excursion will be composed of different steps: cruising speed for discovery, accelerations for fun, and swimming breaks. The maximum capacity is 12 pax (in double), therefore for the group we will have to do it in turns while the waiting guests will still be able to accompany on the security boat. BLUE SAFARI SUBMARINE (North Coast) If you have always dreamed of discovering the underwater world without getting wet, let it come true by boarding the Blue Safari Submarine is an amazing experience at a depth of about 35 m off the north coast. Discover the magic of marine life and explore coral reefs in the total security and comfort of this genuine sophisticated and air-conditioned submarine, unique in the Indian Ocean. During the 40-min dive amongst multi-coloured fish, the pilots, trained in marine biology, explain all that you see. The view of the wreck of the Star Hope with the sea creatures it harbours is a magical moment. As you go down, the colours change as the water filters the infrared rays. SUBSCOOTER (North Coast) What a wonderful experience to cruise underwater by 3 meters depth on board of it s own twin submarine, and thus in full safety! This unique submarine in the world, called subscooter, reminds us of either a James Bond movie or the famous cartoon of Tintin & Milou. The riders sit one behind the other as on a scooter, with their head covered by a transparent dome providing a panoramic view of the reef and all the important air to breathe naturally, without the need of a regulator in the mouth. Riders can therefore express their instant delight to each other underwater. A dive will take about 30 minutes, led and supervised by two qualified dive guide. Available for anyone over 12 years old, even non swimmers, but in good physical condition. LE TAMARINA GOLF COURSE The Tamarina Golf Course is situated on a beautiful estate of 206 hectares of land at Tamarin on the Western coast of the island. This 18-hole Championship course undulates over rugged savannah land framed with mature trees and crossed by the Rempart River. The holes have been specially designed to give spectacular views of the impressive Mount Rempart and the towering mountain range. Some holes also offer great views over the crisp crystal clear blue lagoon of the Tamarin Bay.
