As usual, the summer months will be a busy time at Ethos VBC. Here s just a quick list of some of the things going on this summer: Ethos Beach (sand volleyball) starts its 3 rd season this week o tryouts on Wednesday at Centennial Park downtown Tryout Cram Sessions for both Middle & High School players o runs the entire month of May Individual summer camps in May & June o Signup online or see page 4 for full list Juniors Sand Tournaments (open to all players) o June 6 th & 27 th at Sports*Com facility in Murfreesboro All-Star & Elite teams going to AAU Nationals in Orlando o Practices on Tues/Thurs nights Team Satellite camps starting in July Wade Harman (2yr Ethos Indoor & Beach player) wins Junior Player of the Beach in Gulf Shores So if you were thinking about taking the summer off of volleyball, remember that other players will be getting better while you re relaxing. As I quoted in a newsletter last year, the Rent Axiom states: Success is never owned - it s only rented. And the rent is due every day Have you committed to becoming a better volleyball player? SUMMER CAMPS a great time for individual improvement In the summers, Ethos partners with the Tennessee Volleyball Association to host individual skill camps, beach camps, host tournaments and put on coaching clinics. This allows kids & coaches with any club association to attend and is a great way to bring in the best coaches & players from around the state.
