HOUSE RULES AND REGULATIONS Clubhouse and Dining Rules and Regulations 1. Members are to conduct themselves in a manner that will not interfere with the enjoyment of the Club by other members or guests. Anyone of Club premises acting in a disorderly, disruptive, or offensive manner will be asked to leave. Members are responsible for the conduct and dress of their family members and guests and will be held accountable for their actions. Members will be responsible and may be subject to disciplinary action for any club property abused, removed, damaged, or destroyed by the Member or guest. 2. Dress Code The following are prohibited in all dining areas: Sweats and workout attire Tank tops Midriffs Cutoffs Running shorts Bathing attire Tasteful denim and golf attire are permitted in all dining areas. T-shirts are permitted in all dining areas but must be worn with tasteful denim, shorts or slacks. Athletic shorts will not be allowed in any of the dining areas. 3. Guests may use the same facilities the sponsoring Member is entitled to use. As a general rule, guests must be accompanied by a member. Under certain circumstances, the general manager may approve unaccompanied guest usage. Members will familiarize their guests with the bylaws and these rules. 4. No one under the age of eighteen is permitted in the Bar or Media Suite. 5. For the convenience of Members, a service charge of 18 percent will be added to all food and beverage sales. 6. The Club intends to comply with all federal, state, and local laws pertaining to the sale and service of alcoholic beverages. No alcoholic beverages shall be brought onto
or removed from Club premises. Club employees may refuse service of alcoholic beverages to any individual they feel is intoxicated or on the verge of becoming intoxicated. 7. Smoking is prohibited in all areas within the Clubhouse including the patio. 8. Club Members contact information will never be used for commercial or charitable purposes or given to any non-member for any reason whatsoever. 9. Members and guests shall use club facilities at their own risk and shall assume sole responsibility for personal injury, personal property, and property damage. The owner, its officers, employees, representatives, and agents shall not be held liable for personal injury to any person while on club premises, nor for loss or damage to personal property, brought onto, used or stored on club property, whether in lockers or elsewhere. 10. Any member who violates any of the conditions set forth in the bylaws or these rules and regulations may be subject to a fine and/or suspension of membership privileges. Golf GUEST POLICY 1. Guests of Members will be charged a Guest Fee as defined by the Club. 2. All Non-Member Guests, other than valid house guest that resides outside the DFW area will be permitted to play once per month regardless of the sponsor. 3. All Tee Times prior to 12:00 noon on Weekends and Holidays are reserved for Members ONLY. 4. A Member and their spouse may bring one non-resident house guest each during these times. 5. Any more than three Guests must go through the Head Golf Professional or group sales to get tee times. Other than Golf Outings (4 or more Guests), the Member must play in the foursome with their Guests. 6. Failure to cancel tee times will result in a charge to the Member s account for full Guest Fee(s). All charges incurred by a Guest will be billed to the Member s account unless other payment option is made at the point of purchase. RULES OF PLAY 1) All Members must register with the starter before starting play. In absence of the starter, registration will be in the Pro Shop. 2) Members are required to register their Guests prior to their tee time. 3) No players shall start on any tee other than the #1 tee without permission of the Pro Shop. 4) Proper attire is required by all Members and their Guests.
5) Use of range balls on the course is strictly prohibited. 6) When practicing, Members are to use practice facilities only. Under no circumstances are the on-course greens, tees or fairways to be used for practice 7) Jogging, walking, skateboarding, cycling on the course / cart paths is strictly prohibited at all hours. NO PETS are allowed on the golf course. 8) Fishing is not permissible on the Club grounds under any circumstances, including when there are no visible players on a given hole. 9) The Member is personally responsible for damage to any and all country club property or private property. This includes damage caused by their children or their Guests including broken windows. 10) Fivesomes may be allowed Tuesday through Thursday, however, this is strictly at the discretion and permission of the Head Golf Professional or his staff. 11) Certain limitations and restrictions may apply to Junior Golfers. GOLF ATTIRE Appropriate attire for ALL male golfers includes a shirt with a collar and full sleeves, golf slacks or shorts. Appropriate attire for ALL female golfers includes golf shirts (sleeveless shirts must have collars, collarless shirts must have sleeves), golf slacks, golf shorts or skirts. All Guests and Junior Golfers must adhere to the same dress rules. Inappropriate attire includes (but is not limited to) tee shirts, tank tops, halter tops, tennis attire, any type of denim jeans or shorts, athletic warm-ups or shorts or bathing suits. Metal spiked golf shoes and athletic cleats are prohibited. GOLF CART REGULATIONS No one under the age of 16 or without a valid drivers license will be allowed to operate golf carts at any time. Golf carts will be used for golf round rentals and official use only. They may be used to access the driving range depending on availability. The maximum capacity is two people. Carts are to be driven on the cart paths or in the rough using the 90-degree rule on crossing fairways. Carts are to be kept at least 30 yards away from tees and greens. Carts must remain on the cart paths on all Par-3s. Members are personally responsible for any damage to country club property, private property or golf carts caused by themselves, their children and/or any Guests. TEE TIME RESERVATIONS Tee times may be reserved up to 4 days in advance. Any tee times being reserved with a TBD must be filled with names no later than 48 hours of the date of play. The Golf Shop has the right to pair up groups if tee times are not filled. If you need more than one tee time on the same day, it will be considered an outing and the Member must go through the Head Golf Professional or the event coordinator.
Members are responsible for canceling tee times at least 24 hours in advance if they will not be used. Failure to cancel tee times during peak hours will result in a charge to the Member s account for full Member and Guest Fees and cart fees. JUNIOR GOLF PRIVILEGES WILL BE BASED ON THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES An adult Member must accompany Junior Golfers seven (7) years of age or younger on the golf course and practice facilities at all times unless the Junior Golfer is certified through the Pro Shop. Junior Golfers may play at any time when accompanied by an adult Member. Certified Junior Golfers may play anytime on a space available basis Tuesday through Friday and after 12:00 Noon on Weekends and Holidays. A certified junior golfer can play without adult supervision after the steps following steps have been satisfied: 1. Must be at least 8 years old. 2. The Golf Staff will conduct an orientation session covering golf course etiquette, basic rules of golf, Club rules and player s ability test. 3. Must be certified by the Head Golf Professional or an Assistant Professional. The Golf Professional Staff and the Club Management may suspend or terminate certification of any Junior Golfer for failure to comply with the Club rules or poor etiquette on the course. TOURNAMENT ELGIBILTY Association and Club sponsored tournaments and events are open to primary male and/or female Members on each membership account. The Member s account must be current and in good standing. Certain tournaments may require a valid USGA Handicap. HANDICAPS Members must turn in all scores to the Pro Shop for posting. Failure to report all scores (good and bad) could result in disqualification from tournament play, PACE OF PLAY POLICY The suggested pace of play at Timarron is a maximum 4 hours and 14 minutes for 18- holes. It is the responsibility of each and every Member to maintain proper pace of play. A pro shop representative will notify a group (or groups) that has fallen behind the pace of play. If the group still can not get back into position after two warnings, a Golf Professional or Club representative will become involved. The group will be required to (a) pick up their golf balls and proceed to the next tee, (b) skip the next hole or (c) let the group or groups behind them play through.
Fitness 1. All Members and their guests must register at the reception area located in the Fitness Center and record appropriate fees if applicable. Guest fees are $10 per day. In order to protect the integrity of the Membership, guests are limited to twice per month. 2. Proper fitness attire, consistent with the family oriented facility, must be worn. The bottom of the shirt must touch the top of the short/pant. All clothing must have hemmed edges. No cut off shirts or shorts. Participants must wear closed toe shoes. No sandals or bare feet. 3. Fitness attire is not considered appropriate dining attire and will not be permitted in the Club s dining areas. 4. Children under the age of 13 are NOT allowed in the Fitness Facility unless accompanied by a staff trainer. 5. Children between the ages of 13-16 may use the facility if the accompanying parent is working with them on each piece of equipment. Additionally, children in this age group may use the facility if they have passed Junior Athletic Certification with the Director of Fitness. 6. Use of cardio equipment is limited to 30 minutes while others are waiting. (Clarification: each piece of equipment falls under this rule. If another member wants a particular piece of equipment then the 30-minute rule applies even if other similar equipment is available.) 7. 24-hour notice is expected when canceling training sessions. Insufficient notice will result in the billing of the regular fees. 8. Group exercise participants must register before attending each class.
