Starz Presents. 2017 Halftime Routine Showdown Saturday, November 18, 2017 St. Mary High School 64 Chestnut St., Rutherford, NJ 07070 FOR ALL RECREATION & SCHOOL/HIGH SCHOOL SQUADS STUNT CHALLENGE NO COMPETITON TEAMS The Entry fee is $50 per team The deadline for all entries is October 31 st, 2017 NO REFUNDS. GENERAL ADMISSION: $5.00 If you have any questions, please contact Michele Stirone @201-852-0119 or meadowlandstarz@gmail.com PLEASE READ AND ADHERE TO THE FOLLOWING: Sportsmanship is encouraged by Meadowlands Starz Cheerleaders and Staff. Any team, coach or fan displaying unsportsmanlike behavior will be asked to leave. Floor: All teams will be performing on a 9 PANEL Floor (54x42) Safety: All Recreation, Grammar and Middle School teams will follow AACCA rules. There will be a 5 point deduction for each infraction. All High School teams will follow National Federation Rules, with the exception of the Spring Floor Rule. Practice: Teams should report 1 hour prior to their division. (If you arrive late, you may not receive mat time). We will provide a back gym for warm up and mat time. We will have stations: Once your team is called, you will go from stretch to the tumble track to Mat time to In the hole to On deck and then you will perform. We hope this will cut down on wait time. Awards: Team trophies will be awarded in each division-number of places will be determined by the number of teams in each division. 1-3 teams 1 st place 4-5 teams 1 st /2 nd place 6 and over 1 st /2 nd /3 rd place Individual medals will be given to all GRAND CHAMPS. Judges Favorite routine will receive Cheer Bows!!! * Divisions may be combined if less than 3 teams in that division-(we will notify). Music: All music must be on a good quality CD(R). Please bring a backup copy. Judges: To ensure an on time event we will be providing alternating, professional judges. Approx. Start Times: Rec: 8:30 AM Grammar/HS: 12 PM THESE ARE APPROXIMATE & SUBJECT TO CHANGE Exact start times will be emailed to coaches the week of the competition. Performance Order: Order of appearance will be determined by postmark-first received is last to perform. Mat and start time will be sent VIA EMAIL with your confirmation closer to competition date.
