On the occasion of the Athens 2004 Olympic Games event presented herebelow are certain structures for which ATHENA S.A. is very proud for the timely completion and quality achieved. ATHENA S.A. participated and completed major Works for the Olympic Games. These Projects include the Olympic Stadium, the Palais de Sports, the roof cover of Olympic Velodrome and Agora, the International Broadcasting Complex (IBC), the Olympic Main Press Centre (MPC), the Olympic Sailing Centre of Ag. Kosmas, the Journalist Accommodation Village Maroussi 2004, the Zea Marina, the Rion Antirion bridge, as well as the world renowned Olympic Stadium Roof Cover designed by the famous Spanish Architect Calatrava. 1

Olympic Stadium (1 st Construction Period 1980 1982) 1982) Client: General Secretariat of Sports 75,000 seat Olympic Stadium, with in situ fabrication, casting and installation of 2,4 m high, 600 ton twin pylons, specially designed by Athena S.A. to reduce construction time. Twin level stands, 34 twin pylons, 45,000 m3 concrete, 52,000 m3 prefabricated concrete elements. Complete services and utilities of all the athletic & supporting facilities & installations, including landscaping. 8

Olympic Velodrome Client: General Secretariat of Sports The Olympic Velodrome, at the Athens Olympic Sports Complex (OAKA), is the venue where the Track Cycling discipline took place. It hosted 5,250 spectators, who had the opportunity to view the fast paced sport in the modern Velodrome venue. The field of play is a wooden track made by afzelia hard wood of 250 m. length and 720 m. width. The banking at the two bends is 42 and at the two straights is 12. Part of it included its roof, designed by the famous Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. 13

International Broadcasting Center Client: General Secretariat of Sports Construction ti of the 115,000 m2 broadcasting facilities, two underground garages of 38,500 m2 each, adjoining 38,500 m2 of broadcasting studios, all required facilities dedicated to the radio and television coverage of the Athens 2004 Olympic Games. 17

Olympic Main Press Center Client: General Secretariat of Sports The firm implemented the design and construction of the Olympic Main Press Center. Works include the construction of two steel buildings, of seven and eight stories respectively, along with all the electromechanical installations, to serve the press media during the Athens 2004 Olympic Games. 19

Olympic Sailing Centre Ag. Kosmas Client: Hellenic Ministry of Public Works Construction of an outer 1 km breakwater, protected with rock armor and acropods. The inner harbor includes basin dredging, construction of quay wall of 1.13 km at 4m depth, buildings of 25,000 m2, and landscaping and surrounding works. 22
Journalist Accommodation Village Maroussi 2004 Client: Lamda Olympia Village S.A. Construction of nine 4 storey residential buildings in 108 apartments with basements totaling 27,800 m2 to accommodate the visiting journalists attending the Athens 2004 Olympic Games, building maintenance and phase adaptation required for final after Olympic residential use. 23
Zea Marina Client: Marina Zeas S.A. Reconstruction and repairs to existing piers and quays, sea bottom dredging, repairs on breakwater, buildings for new installations and landscaping works. 24
Rio Antirio Bridge Construction Client: Hellenic Ministry of Public Works A BOT project, 7 year design / construction contract, 35 year concession for the construction of 2.29 km bridge which forms an integral part of the Trans European Network. The works comprise two access bridges of 378 m & 252 m respectively, and 5 cable stayed bridge spans of 2.24 km of total length. In addition, four concrete pylons are placed at 45 m & 62 m sea depth to support the main bridge. 25
