Designed at two levels, for beginners and intermediate students, ballet classes strengthen dancers and provide the necessary basic techniques for dance study. The beginning class introduces students to dance concepts such as turnout, line, posture and basic vocabulary while the intermediate class builds on these basics to include more challenging footwork, choreography and exercises to develop the dancer s technique and movement vocabulary. Instructor approval is required for this class. Because of the popular demand for tap classes, Tap 3 is for intermediate students with at least two years of tap experience who want more advanced steps at a faster pace.
