The Five Zones of Close Quarters Fighting Fighting 101 One of the first rules of Close Quarters Fighting is to know which range your enemy is in. The range that were talking about is relative positioning between you and your attacker /enemy. The Tueller Rule is a tried and tested theory that basically has shown time and again that an attacker with an edged weapon can launch a successful attack against an armed subject with a gun. 2. Kicking Range This is the effective range at which one can kick their adversary. 3. Punching Range Is the zone at which you can effectively strike your adversary with your hands. 4. Trapping / Clinch Range this is the range where you are tied up close with your adversary. The most effective techniques from this range are Elbow and Knee Strikes, Head Butts, Neck Cranks, Joint Locks and More. 5. Grappling /Ground Once the fight escalates past The Clinch its usually means that someone has taken their adversary to the ground.

Ebola in Texas, New Jersey and New York There have been 6 known cases of Ebola in the United States since August. Starting with the doctors who were evacuated to the US from West Africa after having contracted the sickness, then Mr. Thomas Duncan a Liberian who traveled to the US who contracted the disease abroad and brought it to Dallas Texas where he became known as Patient Zero. Patient Zero did not survive the illness. Two of his healthcare aids contracted the sickness from him and have survived the ordeal. Most recently a doctor returning from the Hot zone has also tested positive for the illness. Ebola is here which could turn into a pandemic that could instigate everything from economic melt down to anarchy and MartialLaw. Are you Ready? Are you Ready?
