4 RULES & REGULATIONS 1. ENTRIES CLOSING DATES FOR ENTRIES Nominated Entries Close: May 7, 2018 Definite Entries Close: May 18, 2018 Online Entries: www.splitrockjumpingtour.com/competitor Email Entries: entries@splitrockjumpingtour.com Mail Entries: Split Rock Jumping Tour - Show Office 4845 Bryan Station Road, Lexington, KY 40516 ALL FEI horses competing at the Lexington International CSI2* are required to select the All-Inclusive Entry Package. Non- competing horses are required to select the Non- Competing All - Inclusive entry package. All horses must ahve a stall on the grounds during the horse show. One day ship ins will not be permitted. All entries 1.20m and over will have a $250 Nomination Fee Entries and stalls will be limited. An office fee of $75 is included in the FEI All-Inclusive Entry Package. Entries recieved electronically online or mailed in that are postmarked after 11:59pm on May 14, 2017 will not be guaranteed acceptance. Late entires (postmarked after 11:59pm on May 14, 2017) will be charged a $250 late entry fee at management discretion. A separate entry form (email or print) must be filled out for each horse. Each entry must be signed by the owner, rider, trainer, and coach (if applicable) and said signature shall constitute verification that the information contained theron is accurate to the best of the signer s knowledge and belief. 2. SUBSTITUTIONS Last date for substitutions is May 21, 2018. Exhibitors are responsible for the fees of all horses entered by them or their agents. 3. LATE WITHDRAWS & NO SHOWS Withdraws after May 15, 2018 will be responsible for stabling and nominating fees. No-shows will be responsible for all fees associated with their pre-paid deposit and will not recieve a refund. Under certain circumstances and/or a veterinary verification letter, SRJT Management reserves the right to enforce or waive fees. 4. NIGHT WATCH All horses occupying a stall will be required to pay a flat Night Watch fee of $15, which is included in the FEI package. No exceptions. 5. PARAMEDIC & HORSE AMBULANCE All horses are required to pay a Paramedic fee of $20 and a Horse Ambulance fee of $15, which is included in the FEI All-Inclusive Entry Package. No exceptions. 6. SHIP-IN, ARRIVALS & STABLING Ship in hours will occur from 8:00AM - 4:00 PM Monday, May 21, and Tuesday, May 22. Wednesday ship in times are from 6:30AM - 10:00AM and 4:30 PM- 7:00 PM. FEI entries must be on grounds by 10:00 AM Wednesday May 24. Beginning Tursday horses can ship-in from 6:00 AM - 7:30 AM or after completion of the final class of the day. Shavings can be ordered via the Entry Form or by contacting entries@splitrockjumpingtour.com with the subject line SRJT Feed & Bedding Order by May 14 2018. Special bedding requests may be sent to entries@splitrockjumpingtour.com. Upon arrivial, enjoy our complimentary Concierge Service to assist you with parking and unloading of equipment for a smooth and quick move-in experience. All stabling is temporary. All stalls are 10x10. Doors are provided for each stall. All trailers must enter at Gate 2, check-in at the Security Check Point, and then proceed to stabling. The stall fee is included in the FEI All-Inclusive Entry Package. Grooming/tack stall fees may be selected as Add-ons to the All-Inclusive Entry Packages. The national stall fee is $300, national grooming/tack stall is $300, the FEI stall fee is $450, and the FEI grooming/tack stall fee is $450. 7. SHIP-OUT & DEPARTURE Ship-out can occur each day with SRJT Management permission ONLY from 6am- 7:30am or after completion of the final class of the day. Sunday ship-out occurs after the final class has ended. SRJT Management holds sole descretion to allow horses to leave outside assigned times. 8. VETERINARY & HEALTH REQUIREMENTS A negative Coggins test is required for every horse entering the Split Rock Farm property. A Health Certificate, within 30 days, is required for horses entering the state of Kentucky. FEI entries must abide by FEI requirements. 9. MEDICAL WASTE Anyone found discarding sharps in any other manner than the provided sharps containers, will be fined up to $250 per instance and held responsible for any fines or expenses incurred by management. 10. SCHOOLING & WARM-UP The designated schooling arena for the competition will be restricted to only horses warming up to compete in said class(es). Horses wishing to school at times other than their designated competition warm-up time must use the arena(s) posted for open flatting/schooling. SRJT Management reserves the right to change schooling locations and times to best suit competition arenas due conditions/weather. 11. PRIZE MONEY Prize money will be mailed within thirty (30) days of the conclusion of the show to the owner listed on the entry form. Prize money will only be mailed if the owner s or payee s social security number and complete address is listed in full on the entry form plus a signed IRS W-9 Form on file in the show office. Foreign competitors must include a U.S. Tax ID Number on their entry form or 30% of their winnings will be withheld as per the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. Foreign competitors should apply for a U.S. social security number and will be asked to complete a W-8BEN or W-8 Certificate of Foreign Status Form. As per FEI regulations, Split Rock Jumping tour is required to issue all tax forms to the owner, regardless as to whom the prize money was paid. 12. TIES ARENA SPECIFICATIONS The Rock Jumping Arena The Limestone Jumping Arena The Indoor Arena All ties in jumper competitions will be broken on the basis of time in accordance with FEI rules. In consulation and agreement with the Ground Jury and Organizing Committee, ties will be broken in any jump-off on the basis of time to the 1000ths of a second. 380 x 185 Sand/Fiber Mix 220 x 120 Sand/Fiber Mix 13.ANIMAL WELFARE: POLING & OFF-SETS Manual poling or the use of bamboo off-sets is prohibited while on the Split Rock Farm, Inc. property. Violaters will be subject to penalty with the automatic elimination of the horse involved from the class it is competing in and/or the succeeding class in which it was entered and will forfeit all entry fees for that class. Riders/trainers who, in the opinion of the Judges or Committee, use a whip or spurs in a cruel or excessive manner will be immediately eliminated from the current and/or succeeding class in which that horse/rider is entered and will forfeit all entry fees for that class. All incidents may be reported by the USEF Steward and to the USEF for possible further investigation. 200 x 100 Sand/Fiber Mix 14. PARKING & NIGHT WATCH Competitors will recieve Competitor Parking Passes. FEI riders will pick up their parking pass, along with their full Competitor Packet at the FEI Jog. National riders will pickup their parking pass, along with their full Competitor Packet at the Welcome Reception. 5

Additional parking passes can be obtained at the Show Office. All vehicles must enter at Gate 2. Horse trailers are required to park in the Trailer Parking Lot off the exit route (exit at Gate 3). Night check groom or competitor vehicles must check-in at the Security Check Point for authorization between the hours of 8pm - 7am Tuesday through Sunday. 15. MOTORIZED VEHICHLES Motorized vehichles of any type (golf carts, scooters, four wheelers, etc) will be PROHIBITED at all times outside of VIP parking, Trailer parking, and General Admission parking areas. Vehicles will only be permitted in stabling areas during their scheduled ship-in time. The only authorized motor vehicles will be Official Show Staff and emergency vehicles. NO EXCEPTIONS. Minors who do not have a valid driver s license which allows them to operate a motorized vheicle in the state in which they reside will not be permitted to operate vehicles on the competition grounds of licensed competitions. Minors who have a valid temporary license may operate the above described motorized vehicles as long as tehy are accompanied by an adult with a vaild driver s license. The parent(s), legal guardian(s), or individual who signs the entry form as a parent or guardian of a minor operating a motorized vehicle in violation of this rule are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or actions resulting from that operation. Violations of this rule will be cause for sanctions against the parent(s), guardian(s) and/or trainer(s) who are responsible for the child committing the offense. Penalties may include exclusion of the child, parent(s), guardian(s), and/or trainer(s) from the competition grounds for the remainder of the competition and charges being filed against any of the above individuals in accordance with Chapter 6. Wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices for individuals with disabilities are exempt from this rule. 16. LIABILITY Under Kentucky Law, a farm animal activity sponsor, farm animal professional, or other person does not havethe duty to eliminate all risks of injury of participation in farm animal activites. Split Rock Jumping Tour, its owner, employees, agents and sponsors shall not be liable or responsible for loss or damage to any animal, person, or property which occurs for any reason during the show. Each exhibitor holds the SRJT Show Management, its owners, agents, employees, as well as the USEF blameless for any accident or loss which may occur. 17. ORGANIZING COMMITTEE DECISIONS It is important to understand that interpretations of existing rules and regulations and the invoking of additional rules and regulations to cover unforseen circumstances are the sole responsibility and authority of the Organizing comittee, in conjunction with, and with the approval of the Ground Jury and that all owners, trainers, chiefs, competitors, and grooms agree to the acceptance of these interpretations and additional rulings by virtue of your participation. 18. USEF MEMBERSHIP STATEMENT Life, senior active and junior active members shall be eligible to participate in all classes at regular competitions, eventing competitions at preliminary level or above and combined driving competitions at the advanced level, dressage, reining, and vaulting competitions and combined driving competitions upon payment of a $45 Show Pass fee. Participants in the following classes are exempted from the requirements of this rule: 1) leadline, 2) exhibitions, 3) games and races, 4) classes for 4-H members, 5) walk trot and academy classes (academy classes are classes limited to horses used regularly in a lesson program), 6) USDF introductory level tests, pas de deux and quadrille classes, 7) NRHA endorsed reining competitions, 8) opportunity classes, 9) citizens of other nations who have proof, in English, of current membership in good standing with their own National Federation, 10) USEA beginner novice division, and 11) assistant handlers in Dressage Sport Horse Breeding classes. 19. UNITED STATES EQUESTRIAN FEDERATION Every class offered herein, which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current United States Equestrian rule book will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith. 20. FARRIER No farrier other then the official show farrier will be permitted on the grounds unless pre-approved by the SRJT show management. 21. LEASH LAW Dogs must be on a leash and under control at all times. Dog owners who fail to comply with the USEF rules regarding dogs may be subject to penalty and/ or warning cards issued. Dog owners are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses, or actions resulting from their dog s behavior. 1. FEI INSPECTIONS & STABLING All horses must be on grounds by 10am (EST) Wednesday, May 23, 2018. The FEI Inspection will be held in the Limestone Jumping Arena at 4:00PM (EST) on Wednesday, May 23, 2018. If necessary, any re-inspections will be held at 7am (EST) on Thursday, May 24, 2018. Applies to all 2* horses. 2. FEI FEES FOR HORSES & RIDERS As approved at the 2006 General Assembly, an annual FEI registration is now mandatory for all riders and horses competing in FEI events. The fee requirement took effect January 1, 2006 and must be renewed annually. All horses and riders must be registered with the FEI before competing in any 2017 FEI competition. 3. FEI HORSE PASSPORTS FEI RULES & REGULATIONS Every horse entered for any competition at CSNs or CSI*/** in a foreign country, all horses entered for other CSI***/****/*****, CSIOs, Championships, Regional, and Olympic Games whether at home or in foreign countries must have an official, valid, FEI passport, or a National passport approved by the FEI accompanied by a FEI Recognition Card, as a means of identification and to establish ownership. 4. EQUINE INFLUENZA PROTOCOL All horses participating in FEI events must be vaccinated against Equine Influenza, according to the following minimum protocol (FEI Veterinary Regulations Article 1028): 1. An initial primary course of two vaccinations must be given, the second vaccination must be administered within 21-92 days of the first vaccination. 2. The first booster must be given within 7 calendar months following the date of administration of the second vaccination of the primary course. All horses that were certified as correctly receiving the primary course prior to January 1, 2005 (under previous regulations), are not required to fulfill the requirement for the first booster, providing there has been no lapse in their vaccination regime. 3. The minimum booster frequency is every 12 months. However, for horses competing, the last booster must have been given within 6 months plus 21 days (and not within 7 days) before the arrival at the Event. 4. The horse must have received at least the primary course of vaccinations against Equine Influenza. 5. No vaccination shall be given within 7 days of the horse s arrival at the Event. 5. THE FEI CODE OF CONDUCT The FEI requires all those involved in international equestrian sport to adhere to the FEI Code of Conduct and to acknowledge and accept that at all times the welfare of the horse must be paramount. Welfare of the horse must never be subordinated to competitive or commercial influences. A full copy of the FEI Code of Conduct can be obtained from the Federation Equestre Internationale at HM King Hussein 1 Building, Chemin de la Joliette 8, 1006 Lausanne, Switzerland. Telephone: +41 21 310 47 47 This code is available in English & French and is also available on the FEI s website at www.fei.org. 6. ALL SECTIONS WILL ADHERE TO FEI RULES & REGULATIONS 1. The Lexington International CSI 2* will be conducted in accordance with: FEI Statutes (23rd Edition, effective November 7, 2013); FEI General Regulations (23rd Edition, effective January 1, 2014); FEI Veterinary Regulations (13th Edition, effective January 1, 2014); FEI Rules for Jumping Events and its Annexes (24th Edition, effective January 1, 2014); FEI Anti-Doping Rules for Human Athletes (3rd Edition, effective January 1, 2014); and all subsequent revisions to the above Rules and Regulations which will take precedence. An arbitration procedure is provided for the FEI statutes and General Regulations as referred above. In accordance with this procedure, any appeal against a decision rendered by the FEI or its official bodies must be settled exclusively by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne, Switzerland. 2. Horses which lose a shoe prior to starting in the initial round of a one round competition with a jump-off will be given a later starting position. In a jump-off, a horse that loses a shoe prior to starting will be given a new starting place three positions later. If the horse in question has not had its shoe replaced by that time, the Ground Jury will decide whether, at its discretion, the horse in question should receive a later starting place or be eliminated (Article 245.5). 3. Ownership information listed in the passport (and therefore registered with the appropriate Federation) is considered correct.
