It all starts and finishes at Beachfront, where the Race Walk competitors will complete laps of the Pacific Parade course and the Cycling Road events will begin, before riders wind through Waters, Elanora and Tallebudgera Valley and race back to the finish line. How will your travel be affected? At various times roads in the area will be closed, traffic conditions altered and residential access affected. The City of Gold Coast has worked closely with GOLDOC, Queensland Police Service and the Department of Transport and Main Roads to ensure this event can be carried out safely while minimising inconvenience to local residents and businesses.
