ROBOTICS COMPETITION Barton Junior High s competition robotics teams traveled to Bossier City on Saturday, November 4 to compete in the Cyber Innovation Center s Regional Autonomous Robotics Circuit. They finished in 6th and 17th position out of 83 teams. They had to build and program a robot to complete tasks on a time limit in order to score points. Team members are Honor Cotton, Gabe Rosson, Zachary Blackwell, Eric Jennings, Brian Soto, Sophie Ruiz, Sarah Beeman,Madison Pierce, and Salvador Garza. Barton Gives Back MISS TER BJHS Barton students and teachers raised almost $900 to give to Mrs. Peterson (retired BJHS teacher) for her to use for her battle against breast cancer KITTEN CHRONICLE 2017-18 STAFF IMPORTANT DATES Semester Exams Students will attend from 8:00-11:30 on the 13th-15th Wednesday, December 13-1st and 2nd period Thursday, December 14th- 3rd and 4th period Friday, December 15th- 5th and 6th period Monday, December 18th-7th Period Tuesday, December 19th- Make-ups Students will be dismissed at 9:30 on the 18th December 20-January 2: Christmas Break January 3: Staff Development (No students) January 5: Report Cards January 15: MLK Day February 19: P/T Conferences March 19-23: Spring Break March 26: Report Cards Quote A river cuts through rock not because of its power but because of its persistence. -Jim Watkins
