INDIVIDUAL ENTRY FORMS: EVENTS: FORM E Please return the Team Member Submission form by 1 July to the WSF Office. Note: Any squads not submitted by the deadline will attract an automatic fine of US$100 per day (or part) that it is late. Men s and Women s Individual Entry Forms (separate document) must be returned to the WSF office by 4 June please note the individual entry form must be completed by all team members as well. The events shall be played under the current Rules of the Game and the WSF World Championship Regulations. For the individual events the top 8 men players will be required to play off to decide positions 1 to 8 in the Main Draw, whereas the women will not do so. WSF Regulations stipulate that there are play-offs where there is no following team event (men) and not where there is one (women). TRANSPORT: ELIGIBILITY: The Organisers will provide transport between Copernicus Wroclaw airport, or Wroclaw main train station to the hotel and following the event from the hotel to the station or Copernicus Wroclaw Airport. A regular shuttle service (hotel/venue/hotel) will be provided from 14 July. Transport for practice arrangements prior to 14 July must be requested in advance. Age requirements are defined as Under-19 years of age as at the final scheduled day of the Championship event i.e. born on or after 22 July 1994 (Individual Championship) and on or after 28 July 1994 (Women s Team Championship). All players must be eligible to represent a Full Member Nation of the WSF. TROPHIES: OFFICIAL BALL: The WSF Trophy and medals will be awarded in the Championship and Plate events. No prize money is awarded in any WSF Junior event. The Dunlop Pro Championship Ball will be used for all matches.
INSURANCE: All players, officials and teams must cover their own personal insurance. Competitors enter and play in the Championship at their own risk. Neither the WSF, the Host Nation, the Organisers nor the host venue accept any responsibility for injury arising from participation in the Championship. ANTI-DOPING: 1. The WSF/Host Nation will implement compulsory anti-doping tests for any players participating in the World Championship. 2. There shall be no doping before or during play in any competition under WSF Rules. 3. Any player refusing to undergo doping control and any person found guilty of doping will be dealt with by the WSF, which shall take disciplinary action in accordance with its constitution/regulations. AGE VERIFICATION: All players will be required to present their passports to the WSF Technical Director to confirm eligibility before being permitted to compete. This can be done at any time during Monday 15 July at the Championship Office. The right is reserved to age-test any player in accordance with World Championship Regulation K6. CHAMPS WEBSITE: http://hastalavista.pl/wjc-2013/strona-glowna-2 EYEWEAR: REGISTRATION: DRESS CODE: CLOTHING REGS: TV /STREAMING: All participants in World Junior events and players aged under-19 in other WSF Championships are required to wear WSF Certified protective eyewear throughout the Championship in accordance with the following World Championship Regulation: http://www.worldsquash.org/ws/?page_id=777 All competitors at WSF World Junior Individual and Team Championships shall wear protective eyewear (manufactured to an appropriate national safety standard) properly over the eyes at all times during competition play. Information on which protective eyewear meets national safety standards may be obtained from the World Squash Federation website at: It is the responsibility of the individual player to ensure that the quality of the product worn is satisfactory for the purpose. Registrations will take place at the hotel. On arrival at the hotel, check in at the Championship/Registration Office where players will get their registration and player packs. The dress code for the official Opening Ceremony on 15 July is tracksuits for Individual entrants/team uniform. Please refer to Regulation L of the WSF Championship Regulations at: http://www.worldsquash.org/ws/?page_id=1837 In order for squash to be well presented on television and when streamed it is essential that the two players wear different colours and that if they change shirts during matches they keep to the colour they had on before. So, two colours must be brought to the championships. Here is the full World Championship Regulation L4. For any match covered by television, players clothing shall conform to the advertising regulations published and generally applied by the appropriate television authority of the Host Country; and both players must wear distinctly different coloured clothing the colour must not change during a match. (Where colours are similar, the lower placed individual/team on the draw sheet must change colour). PRACTICE TIMES: Courts for practice (free of charge) are available from 14 July. The schedule of practice times will be available from the Championship Office. The Championship court will be available for practice when there is no Championship play. Transport for practice prior to the 14 July needs to be booked.
TICKET PRICES: ANTHEM/FLAG: FUNCTIONS: VISAS: TEAM ORDERS All players will be offered free entry to watch matches, although places around the centre court may be limited. Each competing nation is required to bring a standard sized national flag and their national anthem on CD for use during the Championship. There will be functions held during the Championship. Full details will be supplied in the Championship Manual. Overseas players and officials may require a visa to enter Poland. It is every nation s responsibility to ensure visas for their entire delegation are applied for and received in adequate time. The Team Member Submission form (FORM D) will be used to produce the seeding for the Championship. Team Managers may lodge changes to their Team order as a result of injury etc. with the WSF Technical Director by 13:00 hrs on 20 July. The WSF Technical Director will announce all nominations by 14:00 hrs the same day to the Team Managers who then have one hour in which to lodge any objections with the WSF Technical Director. Objections must be in writing, stating reasons and justified with evidence such as results or rankings. Decisions about objections will be handled by the Championship Adjudicating Panel (CAP) and the final seeding order will be announced by 20:00 hrs at the latest on the same day by the WSF Technical Director.
