Monday, October 3 @ 9:30PM WILLIE VELASQUEZ: YOUR VOTE IS YOUR VOICE Monday, October 3 @ 8PM BEST OF ENEMIES In 1968, Gore Vidal and William F. Buckley Jr. changed TV news forever with their explosive political debates. Live and unscripted, conservative Buckley and leftist Vidal riveted viewers as a new era in contentious public discourse was born. Meet the charismatic pioneering activist whose rallying cry of su voto es su voz (your vote is your voice) started a grassroots movement that transformed the nation s political landscape and paved the way for the growing power of the Latino vote. DEBATES: A SPECIAL REPORT Watch live coverage (90 minutes) followed by analysis (30 minutes) co-anchored by Gwen Ifill and Judy Woodruff, with David Brooks, Mark Shields and Amy Walter in studio. 2016 Vice Presidential Debate Tuesday, October 4 @ 8PM correspondent Lisa Desjardins on location. Elaine Quijano moderates. 2016 Presidential Debate Sunday, October 9 @ 8PM correspondent Lisa Desjardins on location. 2016 Presidential Debate Wednesday, October 19 @ 8PM correspondent John Yang on location. Chris Wallace moderates. Mondays @ 9PM October 10 From This Day Forward Meet an American family coping with one of life s most intimate transformations. Sundays @ 9PM Starting October 16 Louisa Durrell and her four headstrong children, ages 11 to 21, arrive penniless on the bucolic Greek island of Corfu in 1935. A tight budget and desperation drive the Durrells to sink their meager savings into boat fare to Corfu, where they hope to find a refuge more welcoming for their bohemian ways than the stuffy UK they leave behind. They arrive on an island with no beach resorts, night clubs, tourist shops, or even electricity. What Corfu does have is endless opportunity for living, loving, shooting, and animal collecting.
Tune in tonight for the ticket opportunity to see Trans-Siberian Orchestra at Intrust Bank Arena, Friday, December 2, 7:30 p.m. (Doors open at 6:00 p.m. ) Thursday, October 20 @ 7PM Narrated by the late Ossie Davis, this is a fantasy trip through the magic of Christmas. A runaway little girl decides to return to her family after she enters a rundown theater for shelter and encounters an old caretaker (Davis), who guides her journey. The caretaker brings the theater to life through musical performances by singers Jewel, Michael Crawford and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Friday, October 21 @ 8PM The PBS Arts Fall Festival returns Friday nights, with all new programs, including the highly anticipated look into the making of the Broadway phenomenon Hamilton, a contemporary take on the life of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton. Visionary Lin-Manuel Miranda, the show s Tony and Grammy Award-winning creator and star, will host this year s festival. Great Performances - Hamilton s America gives viewers a look at Miranda and his colleagues creative process during the three years leading up to the Broadway opening of the record-breaking musical winner of 11 Tony Awards and the Pulitzer Prize.
