CERTIFICATION: From 1st January 2009, each civilian shooting on a MoD range is to carry a Shooter Certification Card (SCC) signed by the chairman of a club of which he is a member and which is affiliated to the NRA. Competitors MUST produce their SCC before being allowed to shoot. Full details on this subject can be found on the NRA website. NOTES: Entries will be accepted on the weekend, however these will not benefit from advance squadding and are subject to availability. We aim to accommodate your entry request, please identify the day you wish to shoot each event. Range Officers please use the RO box if you can shoot on the RO days. Target Shotgun Events - Iron Sight for matches 0735, 0736, 1135, 1136, 3335, 3336. There will be an Iron Sights checkbox on the scorecard. It is a condition of entry that all competitors are expected to support the Meeting by assisting as requested, i.e. re-facing targets and acting as Safety Supervisors. It is a Meeting rule that all competitors are required to wear hearing and eye protection (unless otherwise stated in individual event conditions). The NRA will not be liable for any injury sustained through the lack of appropriate protection. Entry fees will be refunded, less an administration fee of 5, if written notice of cancellation is received at the NRA one week prior to the Meeting. Any requests for refunds after this date are at the discretion of the Meeting Director. Practical Pistol Match Round 2 of the NRA Handgun League 2018 Sunday 25 th March 2018 GENERAL Standard guns required to fit IPSC Standard box (with allowance for extensions and barrels). The match is limited to 45 competitors. Please note this is a half-day match, sign in and Safety Briefings - Sunday 25 th March on Butt Zero: AM: 0800 hrs for morning squads PM: 1200 hrs for afternoon squads The match can be shot without a Shooter Certification Card, with one-to-one supervision by an NRA Certified RCO. Please advise in advance if this is the case. MATCH CONDITIONS 1. Scoring - scoring will be in line with NRA and IPSC handbooks. You will require a minimum of 120 rounds of ammunition. Targets will be from 2m to 35m and be a mixture of paper and steels. Competitors are required to assist with resetting/patching, failure to do so may incur procedural penalties or disqualification. 2. Safety Catch - your pistol must be fitted with an operational manual safety catch unless shooting in production or revolver. 3. Holster Test - if your equipment fails the retention test you will start from the Tyro position where a holstered start is required. Shoulder and cross draw holsters are prohibited. The Match Director, will be the final arbiter as to whether any holster or firearm may be used. 4. Tyro Starts - persons not using a holster will be allowed to start in the Tyro position but will be subject to 1 procedural penalty per occurrence. Page 7
