Riders Notes There will be one neutral service vehicle serving each race. Odd-numbered riders, please bring a front wheel. Even-numbered riders, please bring a rear wheel. Please hand the wheels over when signing-on. Please ensure that your wheel is marked with your name. While we will take reasonable care to ensure that your wheel is returned to you, please note that wheels are submitted for use by neutral service at your own risk and the race organisation accepts no liability for loss or damage. There is ample car parking at the race HQ. Please park in a considerate manner to leave plenty of room for others riders. Please follow the directions of race marshals when parking see site plan below for riders parking area. Please DO NOT park on the road outside the HQ. Race Assembly Area - in the Riders Car Park. Riders Briefing - in the Car Park if the weather is good, in the sing on hall if the weather is bad. Riders & Helpers Notes: PLEASE RESPECT THE AREA AROUND THE HQ AND FINISH AREA: Do NOT park in driveways or obstruct access for residents. Do NOT park in the vicinity of the Finish Line ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING in the petrol station. Do NOT drop litter: we want to come back next year!

You will be supported in your role by a Motor Cycle marshal who has the legal power to stop traffic. If your position is some way from the junction where the race is entering the highway, walk up to the first car and thank them and explain the reason for being asked to stop. Give them a race programme (advertisers perk) and if time allows if you have to hold the traffic for a minute or two, explain to the other cars in line. Please ensure that you are wearing your hi-visibility marshalling jacket while you are on duty. Jackets and flags can be picked up from the HQ. Be positive, polite, firm and courteous to motorists who voluntarily stop to allow the race to proceed. Take the registration number of the car of any motorist who displays dangerous behaviour. When the race is over, please return your jacket and flags to the HQ and exchange them for tea and biscuits. Many thanks for your help in promoting this event.
