Whether you re a novice in search of a friendly course or a seasoned player looking for a challenge, the concierge staff can help you plan and book according to your needs. The Golf Courses stretch from Sotogrande in the west to the lesser known Velez Malaga in the east and they all have one thing in common - the fantastic sunny and dry conditions allowing golfers to play all year round. For those who are used to playing golf in the cold and wet of a northern European winter it will be a real luxury to play on a Costa del Sol course even on a winter s day. Below you will find a list of golf courses and equipment rental which Marriott s Marbella Beach Resort recommends. For reservations please use the attached booking form. We ask that you return the form, completed in full, as soon as possible in order to maximize the chances of obtaining your preferred courses and Tee times. Reservations are not confirmed until a written booking confirmation has been received from the Concierge. Should you wish to play on a course that does not have any agreement with Marriott; we will be happy to make the reservation for you. An administration charge of 10 per booking will be charged for this service. LOS ARQUEROS GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB Los Arqueros Golf, a challenging 18 hole, par 71, inaugurated in 1991, has been designed by a man who is not only one of the world s top professional golfers, but also a native of the country, Spain s Severiano Ballesteros. The design thinking behind Los Arqueros Golf was to lay out a course which closely followed the contours of the land and was in harmony with the natural setting. It is an idea, which Seve exploited to the maximum when designing the front and back nine holes, each with its own distinct personality.
