No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after June 21, 2012. Refund of registration will be 30% less for processing. Waiver: All archers must sign the waiver which is attached to the registration form, prior to participating in tournament activities. Archers under 18 years of age must also have a parent or legal guardian sign the waiver. All athletes are bound by the USA Archery Athlete Code of Conduct, which may be reviewed at www.usarchery.org. Membership Required: Participants must be a current member of World Archery, USA Archery or the National Field Archery Association (NFAA) in order to participate in this event. Membership in USA Archery is required to qualify for United States Archery Teams or to earn National Ranking System (NRS) points. Please provide membership information on the registration form or a copy of your membership card with registration or be prepared to show proof at membership at the event. If no membership can be shown, be prepared to purchase a membership to USA Archery upon arrival. Citizenship: Competitors must be U.S. Citizens and eligible according to WA rules. Directions to Joyce Park From I-71 northbound or southbound, take I-275 (on the north side of Cincinnati) approximately 10 west to Route 127 (Hamilton Ave). Proceed north (right from exit) on Route 127 to Nilles Road. Turn left on Nilles Road to the second traffic light at Ricer Road, then right on River Road approximately one mile to Forest Lake Lane. Turn left on to Forest Lake Lane. From I-75 northbound or southbound, take I-275 (on the north side of Cincinnati) approximately 5 minutes west to Route 127 (Hamilton Ave). COMPETITION FORMAT AND RULES The 128th U.S. National Target Championships/Hoyt World Open and will follow all rules and procedures from the World Archery Constitution and Rules 2012. This book can be found online at www.archery.org. All 128 th U.S. National Target Championships shooters (Seniors, Masters) will shoot a four distance FITA round per World Archery rules. For additional rules and information on the Easton JOAD Nationals, please visit www.usarchery.org. All Easton JOAD National shooters (Junior, Cadet, Cub, Bowman) will shoot a single distance 144 arrow round according to their age categories as well as defined Easton JOAD Nationals and World Archery rules. Competition Distances: All Easton JOAD National participants will shoot single distances. 144 arrow qualification/ranking round: *Please note that all Compound archers will be shooting on their own individual target face using the 80cm FITA 6-ring target face that scores out to the 5ring. Junior Male and Female Recurve - 70m on a 122cm FITA target face, 6 arrows per end. Cadet Male and Female Recurve - 60m on a 122 cm FITA target face, 6 arrows per end. Cub Male and Female Recurve - 50m on a 122cm FITA target face, 6 arrows per end. Bowman Male and Female Recurve - 30m on a 122cm FITA target face, 6 arrows per end. Junior Male and Female Compound - 50m on a 80cm FITA 6-ring face*, 6 arrow ends. Cadet Male and Female Compound - 50m on a 80cm FITA 6-ring face*, 6 arrow ends. Cub Male and Female Compound - 30m on a 80cm FITA 6-ring face*, 6 arrow ends. Bowman Male and Female Compound - 25m on a 80cm FITA 6-ring face*, 6 arrow ends..all U.S. National Target Championships participants will be shooting the following distances: **Please note that all Long Distance shooting (Day 1) will be shot on a shared target face using the 122cm FITA 10-ring target face and all Short Distance shooting (Day 2) will be shot on an individual target face using the 80cm FITA 6-ring target that scores out to the 5 ring. Senior Female Recurve and Compound 70m, 60m, 50m, 30m, 6 arrows per end Senior Male Recurve and Compound 90m, 70m, 50m, 30m, 6 arrows per end Master Female Recurve and Compound 60m, 50m, 40m, 30m, 6 arrows per end Master Male Recurve and Compound 70m, 60m, 50m, 30m, 6 arrows per end RULES FOR THE 128th NATIONAL TARGET CHAMPIONSHIPS AND 2012 EASTON JOAD NATIONALS: 1) MEMBERSHIP - USA Archery or NFAA Membership is required for all competitors. NFAA members must enclose a copy of their current (through the date of competition) membership card, with their tournament Registration Form. If your USA Archery membership expires prior to the official start date of the tournament, your USA Archery membership renewal must accompany your tournament registration form. Your application will not be considered complete until your current membership is on file. To join USA Archery, or renew your membership, visit http://www.usarchery.org. 2) CITIZENSHIP Competitors must be U.S. Citizens and eligible according to WA rules. Non-U.S. citizens will compete in Guest divisions and must be eligible according to WA rules. 3) EASTON JOAD NATIONALS AGE CLASSIFICATIONS 4

a) Participants may compete as a Bowman through the calendar year of their 12 th birthday. b) Participants may compete as a Cub through the calendar year of their 14 th birthday. c) Participants may compete as a Cadet through the calendar year of their 17 th birthday. d) Participants may compete as a Junior through the calendar year of their 20 th birthday. 4) NATIONAL TARGET CHAMPIONSHIPS AGE CLASSIFICATIONS a) Participants may compete as a Senior at any point (defined classification is at the beginning of the calendar year of their 21 st birthday) b) Participants may compete as a Master in either 50+, 60+, 70+ 5) OFFICIAL PRACTICE Official practice will be limited to 45 minutes prior to scoring rounds on assigned targets. There will be practice targets available on-site during limited hours. 6) COMPLETE REGISTRATION FORMS AND PAYMENT Archers must complete all sections of the appropriate registration form. An archer will not be considered a registered participant unless the registration form, waiver and payment have been received. 7) ENTERING MORE THAN ONE CLASS An archer may compete in more than one discipline (i.e., Compound or Recurve), but may not compete in more than one age category within the same discipline. Separate fees and a separate registration form are required for each discipline in which an archer shoots. OTHER INFORMATION Coaches during Practice and Qualification: Coaches can be in the practice area and are permitted in designated spectator areas during qualification. Coaches are permitted in athlete areas during elimination and team rounds. All coaches must be appropriately credentialed and approved through tournament management. Agents: Credentialed persons assisting para- archers or the tournament officials may assist within the archer area. Photographers: Photographers will be credentialed by USA Archery and the Host Venue, and are bound by the USA Archery media policy. Refusal to test may lead to disqualification. International Participation: For invitation letters or visa application letters, please contact Katrina Weiss at Kweiss@usarchery.org. When submitting a request letter, please be sure to include page 10 with your request. Food on Site: Concessions will be available on-site. Practice Venue: A practice area will be available on-site however this will only be open during designated times. Event Shirts: Event shirts will be available for sale at the event.. *Please note that there are no pets allowed with the exception of service animals. Anyone who arrives with a pet will be asked to remove the animal before entering the facility. ** AWARDS The award ceremonies will be according to the anticipated schedule. If you are not planning to attend, please make arrangements to have your award picked up. 5
