Uniform Requirements All players except the libero must be dressed identically. Manufacturers logos and lettering on uniforms are not required to be identical. Shorts must match. Players jerseys must be numbered 1 to 99. The number must be placed on the jersey at the centre of the front and on the back. The Libero must wear a uniform which has a different dominant colour than that of the team jersey. The libero jersey must clearly contrast with the rest of the team. The libero must have a different number (from 1 99) from all other players on the roster. If a coach wishes to raise a concern about the opponents uniforms he/she must raise the issue with the tournament director prior to the start of the match.
Outside Food Concession stands will be open at Langley Events Centre during the tournament. Teams are NOT allowed to bring outside food/coolers into any of the tournament venues. Outside coffee is permitted. Medical Medical personnel will be on site during the tournament providing taping and injury treatment. Athletes requiring taping must provide their own tape or be prepared to pay $3.00 per roll. There are 2 medical stations 1 below the AV booth in the front gym and one just inside the Fieldhouse. Medical Permission Forms All coaches must be in possession of a medical permission form for each player on the team. Your local school district form or the Medical Waiver Form provided is acceptable. The head coach must provide a copy of a permission/medical waiver form for each player on the team at check in. Players WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE without a copy of the form in coach's possession. Team Pictures Vancouver Sports Photography is offering photo packages, which include team photos and a variety of options. Book your appointment (including action shots) by: email to bchighschoolboysvolleyball@gmail.com up to November 27 th make an appointment at boys and girls registration make an appointment at the Vancouver Sports Photography booth at the event (inside the Fieldhouse) Team photographs will not be taken as part of the tournament package; they must be booked in advance or at the tournament. Roster Labels All teams are asked to use the Avery label system for attaching names to tournament rosters. Instructions are posted on the tournament website under COACHES Annual General Meeting The BC High School Boys Volleyball Commission AGM will be held at Yorkson Creek Middle School on Tuesday, November 28 th at 7:45 pm. Head coach must attend the AGM. Scholarship Applications The new deadline for BC High School Boys Volleyball Commission and alumni scholarships applications is January 31, 2018.
