THE GREEN PAGES H E AD O F F I CE R EP O RT JANUARY 2015 www.greenwin.ca Greenwin Cares 2014 Year In Review 2014 was another eventful and funpacked year for Team Greenwin. From awards to charitable drives, everyone went above and beyond to make 2014 one of our best years yet. Take a trip down recent memory lane with us!

Greenwin Cares cont'd RAISING FUNDS, RAISING SPIRITS Greenwinites are known for having big hearts and giving back to their community. But in 2014, we really took it to the next level. From getting soaked in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge to spiking it at the SickKids HeatWave volleyball tournament, the Greenwin family was proud to raise funds and awareness for some of our favourite causes. Hitting the In the News Green(s) The summer of 2014 saw us usher in another successful Greenwin Charity Golf Classic, featuring Toronto Maple Leafs alum Darcy Tucker and team announcer Joe Bowen. The fun day was not hampered by a little bit of rain in the afternoon, and we ended up raising lots of money for the Israel Tennis Center and the San Romanoway Revitalization Association. at FRPO Team Greenwin won big at the Federation of Rental Housing Providers of Ontario (FRPO) MAC Awards at the end of 2014. We were proud to take home the top award for Advertisement Excellence - Social Media (accepted by Jessica Green) and we received a nomination for Leasing Specialist of the Year (Ian Ford and John Burns).

In The News cont'd GETTING INSPIRED WITH KRIS In August, our fearless CEO, Kris Boyce, was the featured guest speaker at a sold out FRPO event for women in the property rental industry. While she discussed "What Success Looks Like", she imparted her knowledge and humour to the appreciative crowd. Inaugurating the Harold Green Scholarship In 2014, we were proud to present the inaugural Harold Green Scholarship Award to two very deserving young members of the Greenwin Family, Felixandre Ocampo and Melissa Eratostene. Mrs. Green presented the awards in late spring - and we'll be doing it all again this year! Keep your eyes peeled for details. Jessica Green In November, our Jessica Green was selected by the Women's Executive Network as one of Canada's 100 Most Powerful Women. We were very proud to attend this event and mark this incredible milestone with her!

Greenwin Spirit Celebrating Team Greenwin 2014 saw us welcome many new members to the Greenwin family and bid farewell to some of our beloved longtime employees. Here's a sampling of some of the milestones from this past year: Alexander Bloomberg Welcomed new baby girl Brooke Hannah Bloomberg Peter Welsh Retired in September after managing 88 Erskine for over 10 years Angeline Raj Our Revenue Administrator celebrated her 25th work anniversary Kathryn Kent Celebrated her 47th work anniversary in December Kandeepan Vivekanantham Welcomed new baby Zayn Thaya Selvaratnam Our Property Accountant celebrated her 25th work anniversary Varuni Sachchithanantham Welcomed new baby boy Tristan Vathsuthan Jana Bell Leasing Specialist in Kitchener-Waterloo welcomed her new baby Christina Vieira Welcomed new baby boy Cade Ana Bellamy Bid farewell to Greenwin after 25 years with the company Nicole Kirby Welcomed new baby boy Camden We Work Hard, We Play Hard In 2014, Team Greenwin set sail on our annual employee appreciation cruise on a classic tall ship - under beautifully sunny skies. Our holiday party in December was another festive affair filled with drinks, dancing and smiles. Greenwin properties from all over took part in the fun and games, too, with a number of wonderful resident events organized throughout the year by our fantastic on-site teams. Our favourite event? The Halloween costume contest and this year's new addition - the pumpkin carving competition!

IN THE SPOTLIGHT On Stage with the Harold Green Jewish Theatre In the mood for a night at the theatre? Check out what s coming up at the Harold Green Jewish Theatre and let us know if you re interested in seeing a show. For more information, visit http://www.hgjewishtheatre.com This month, our Q & A is with Amanda Boyce, Greenwin's Senior Marketing & Leasing Coordinator. Q&A amanda boyce When did you start working with Greenwin? I first started working for Greenwin in July 2013 as a RGI Administrator for our Kehilla portfolio. I then transitioned into my current role in December 2013. What is your current role? I am the Senior Marketing & Leasing Coordinator. What do you do when you start feeling overwhelmed on the job? I take a few moments to myself, starting by taking a 10 minute break to de-stress. I then revisit all of my tasks and organize them by priority. Then, if I feel I need assistance or an extension on any tasks and I've done all I can to the best of my ability, I will speak with my manager to arrange for help or discuss alternative due dates for certain tasks that can be pushed back. If you could learn to do anything, what would it be? I would like to learn a new language, starting with Spanish. If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet? My mom s mother. If you could try out one role within the company that is completely different from yours, what would it be? I would like to try being a Project Manager. What do you like most about working at Greenwin? I love the camaraderie between all of the departments. Everyone works as a team and makes you feel included.

Kris Korner: Have you been able to stick to your New Year's Resolutions? February can be a tough time to see a resolution through, particularly if it involves working out. The days are cold, the sun sets at 5pm, and most of us just want to curl up on the couch. There are ways to sneak in a little fitness around the office, however, so why not try some of these tips? Let's "deskercise"! ❶ Tap your toes on the floor while you're sitting at your desk ❷ While seated, straighten one or both legs and hold for a few seconds ❸ Shrug your shoulders and hold for 5 seconds, then release ❹ Notice yourself sinking into your chair? Practice perfect posture for a few minutes each hour ❺ Walk, walk, walk! Take a stroll around the cubicles or take a 15 minute break and head outside for some fresh air Adding little bits of fitness to your day will be easier than you think. If you see me spinning in my chair, I'm just working on my obliques. Until next month! Kris Here We Grow Again!
