INTRODUCTION AFL Auskick is a great way to learn new skills and to engage children in physical activity in a fun and safe environment. The Australian Football League, with assistance from Nutrition Australia, has developed Eat Well, Play Well Footy, fun and food for busy bodies to provide primary school-aged children with educational activities that encourage healthy eating patterns. We are concerned with the health and wellbeing of Australia s children and adolescents and hope the activities contained in this booklet driven by the characters from Mascot Manor, the exciting new mascots of the AFL clubs will assist children and their families to develop appropriate physical activity and healthy eating habits.
