Racer Entry Fee- $250 CDN. Includes discounted ski passes, discounted hotel room pricing, $15 Lunch or Après Ski Voucher each day and a 50 % off dinner voucher (Various restaurants) each day, and a 2018 event T-Shirt. All Volunteers and Racers will be required to complete the Medical Info form as well as the race registration forms. All these forms will be available at race registration. All racers must pre-register on www.speedskiingcanada.com no later than 24hrs prior to first Team Captains Meeting (Registration deadline is 8 pm on Friday March 2nd, 2018) Team Captains Meeting- March 3 th, 8 pm- Heffley Conference Room, Sun Peaks Grand Hotel. Lift Tickets Tickets & Hotels The Sun Peaks Resort LLP lift ticket policy for the 2018 Velocity Challenge/ FIS Speed Ski World Cup is as follows; The 30 top FIS ranked racers in the S1, S2 and S2J classes at the end of last season, in attendance at the Sun Peaks Velocity Challenge/ World Cup (both Men, Women and Juniors) will receive lift passes at no charge. The event entry fee of $250.00 is applicable for all coaches and trainers on course and includes participation in the restaurant meal discounts, daily sponsored event socials and wind up party sponsored events. Flying Transportation Flying to Sun Peaks is done either through Calgary, Alberta or Vancouver B.C. then onto Kamloops B.C. which is 45 minutes from Sun Peaks Resort. Both West Jet and Air Canada service the Kamloops Airport. Please be aware that small commuter aircraft have limited baggage room and may not be able to handle multiple sets of speed skis on the same flight. Check with your airline beforehand.
