INSIDE LABEL DIRECTIONS FOR USE IMPORTANT: This information is approved as part of the Product Label. All instructions within this section must be read carefully in order to obtain safe and successful use of this product. GENERAL INFORMATION: CHIPCO GREEN is a contact fungicide containing iprodione which has curative and preventative action against a range of turf diseases. Its special liquid formulation is very 'rainfast' and can prevent the build-up of morning dew on grass leaves. 'Switching' to remove this dew is therefore usually unnecessary. RESTRICTIONS: If grass is being mown, CHIPCO GREEN should be applied after cutting and further mowing should not take place until AT LEAST 24 hours after treatment APPLICATION RATE: A) Microdochium nivale (Fusarium Patch), Laetisaria fuciformis (Red Thread) and Sclerotinia (Dollar Spot) Apply 1 litre in a minimum of 25 litres of water over 500 m² of turf. This is equivalent to 20 litres per hectare in a minimum of 500 litres of water. B) Rhizoctonia (Brown Patch) and Helminthosporium (Leaf Spot and Melting Out). These diseases are uncommon in the UK but field trials mainly carried out overseas (USA, Canada, New Zealand and Australia) have shown that CHIPCO GREEN at the above rate can give satisfactory control. C) Typhula (Grey Snow Mould) This disease is uncommon in the UK. Field trials overseas have shown that the above rate will often give satisfactory control but where the main problem is known to be Typhula (Grey Snow Mould) it is recommended that a higher rate should be used to increase reliability of control. Apply 1 litre in a minimum of 12.5 litres of water over 250m 2 of turf. This is equivalent to 40 litres per hectare in a minimum of 500 litres of water. TIMING OF APPLICATION: Curative: Apply at the first sign of disease and repeat as necessary. Preventative: Apply at monthly intervals. MIXING AND SPRAYING: Add the appropriate quantity of CHIPCO GREEN to the spray tank, which contains half the required volume of water. Mix thoroughly and make up to the required volume with water. Maintain adequate agitation during application. - 4 -
