They can also pick up a form in the office if you are unable to print it off yourself. The deadline to have the forms in is November 1. We were excited to take a great group of runners to Medicine Hat who have been training hard for the last 6 weeks. Our 11 runners had a chilly day at Echodale on Oct 11 for zones. We had six athletes finish in the top 18 which qualified them for provincials in Edmonton. Dylan Johnson (11th), Reagan Bailey (3rd), Amelia Shimbashi (11th), Renae Saunders (15th), Billy Neustaeter (11th) and Vicky Shimbashi (12th). Dylan, Reagan, Amelia and Vicky took the trip up to Edmonton to compete. We are very proud of these four runners who represented our school well! What a great way to finish a season. We look forward to seeing more runners next fall!
This years Awards Night was another great evening that celebrated the many successes of the fantastic students at WR Myers. A huge thank you goes out to all of our local businesses, whose financial support makes everything possible. Also a huge thank you to Linda VanMeetelen, Corrie Ilczynski, Stacy McClelland, and Kristin Bodnar for their many, many contributions. Finally, a great big shout out to Mr. Pritchard who did an amazing job as our M.C. for the evening. It truly takes a village to pull off this event every year...i couldn't be more impressed with our team that supports and encourages all of our students, each and every day. Go REBELS!
