Activity Packing Check List - 2015 To help ensure some fun and to show your Relay Spirit, might we suggest you pack the following items: Sense of Adventure Team Bio Sheet Item to be Packed Check Team Road to Recovery Car $ Container for Car Show Judging Money Money Money(Concessions, Game Truck, Teamsite Fundraisers,for in case you get locked in the RFL Jail or need to bail out a team member, so you can vote on your favorite car in the car show) Pajamas Pillows Flashlight (with fresh batteries) Sleeping Bags/Blankets Your best Poker Face Purple Clothing, wigs.... anything purple Do your brain exercises the week before so you are ready to Name that Tune with Sage. Pump some weights before the event to get ready for some Alligator Wrestling. Hmmm, every year I forget my gloves for the Frozen T-shirt contest... (just a little hint.. ) Most important item to bring is the desire to have a good time.
Activity Descriptions for Cortland County s 2015 Relay For Life Activity Description Time/Location Every hour stop by the mission table to find your Ongoing Clue (prizes to be awarded right before closing Missions Table ceremonies) Missions Scavenger Hunt Misc Field Games Kidsville Suit Case Relay Race There will be miscellaneous games (Kan-Jam, Jenga...) These are pickup free for all games and will not be monitored. (Challenge your teammates) Dan the Snake Man will entertain you with his reptiles Music Time w/ Ms. Jen Rafferty Craft table and post card making station for cancer patients. A team of 2 people will start at The Moonwalker s campsite, one participant will be blindfolded. They will be instructed to find 4 suitcases that are randomly located on the track. The blindfolded person will pull an article out of each suitcase and the non-blind folded will put it on or apply. Back at The Moonwalker s campsite a picture will be taken... the team with the best looking model (zaniest) will win a prize. Ongoing - Northwest corner of Field 5-8p.m. Under the Bleachers on the Visitor side of the track. 5:00pm - The Moonwalker s Campsite 8pm-Midnight Game Truck Pay to Play in the Game Truck (there will be a @The Game break in action during the Lum Ceremony) Truck ZUMBA Get your blood pumping with Nicki Zeches 5:30pm - Stage
Activity Description Time/Location 7:15pm - North Team Car Show Bring your car onto the track for introductions end of Field (near of teams. (See attached rules/regulations) registration) Road to Recovery Race Teams of 2 will enter a heat to race their team s RRR Car. (See attached rules) 7:50pm - North end of Field Unlock the Cure/Lock Up Cancer (Jail) Hush Angel Lap Luminary Ceremony Jazzercise PJ Lap Pillow Fight Pay the Relay Officer to arrest someone on the track and put them in jail. The Cancer Criminal must raise as much $$ as possible in an agreed upon time frame to get out of jail. (Everyone will be released from jail for the Lum ceremony, but action will commence at 10:30pm) All children are asked to dress as angels for this lap (but not necessary). They will walk the track reminding Relayer s that the Lum ceremony is about to begin and it is time to hush. This is a quiet time in which we honor all victim s of cancer. (please be respectful to all those around you silence your cell phones and keep talking to a minimum at low levels) Get pumped up to stay up all night doing Jazzercize with Barbie s Angels Relay For Life Team Join us for Cortland s Largest Pajama Party get your pajamas on and start walking or dancing. Bring your pillows out to the Field... pairs of 2 will face off in a ring. Last one left standing in the ring in the winner. 8:15pm - Jail (to the right of the Stage) 9:15pm - line up north end of track near registration 9:30pm-10:30 Track 10:30pm - Field in front of stage Midnight Track Midnight Field Mummy Warp Wrap a teammate in toilet paper 12:30am Field

Last one with a sleeping bag/blanket wins. This is a tradition at Cortland s Relay a team of 4-5 Relayer s must unthaw and put on a t-shirt. First team done is the winner. 1:30am - Field Field Purple Laps Show us your PURPLE 2:00am -Track Hula Hoop Race (Simon Says will be played if not enough participants for Hula Hoop Race) Alligator Wrestling Poker Laps Truth or Dare S mores at 4 Bed Head Lap Trash Lap Fruit @ 5 (used to be 5 at 5) Two lines of mixed teams. Your team holds hands and has to get a hula hoop from one end of the line to the next 2 times fastest team to complete is the winner. Another Traditional game at Cortland s RFL we need 2 people to form a team to wrestle an alligator. Pickup a card each lap after 5 cards if you do not have a poker hand, hand your cards in and start again. (Poker hand gets a prize) What is a pajama party without Truth or Dare?
