GONZALEZ S RECORD-SETTING SEASON HONORED IN CANTON TE Tony Gonzalez s game jersey from the Chiefs 2004 regular season finale at San Diego (1/2/05) is currently on display in the Pro Football Today exhibition at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. Gonzalez donated his jersey to the Hall of Fame to commemorate several records he set during the contest. Capping off a remarkable season, Gonzalez established a new single-season record for receptions by a tight end (102), a mark previously held by Ben Coates (96), with his second grab of the fourth quarter. Pulling down a total of 14 catches in the game, Gonzalez also set the Chiefs franchise mark for receptions in a single game, surpassing RB Ed Podolak who recorded 12 receptions in a game against Denver (10/7/73).
