Homecoming 2009 Under the Tent! All the Saints anticipate that autumn evening when we gather as a family for food, fun, and football! The TPS Boosters kicked off Homecoming 2009 in the DAC with terrific BBQ and entertainment of lively jazz provided by the Good Times Jazz Band and our own Saints cheerleaders. The Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony followed dinner, honoring former Saints athletes JT Willett 78 and Mike Villanueva 95, and Girls Varsity Tennis Coach Sally Flynn. Headmaster Maughan recounted their accomplishments and the recipients shared inspirational remarks about their Trinity Prep experiences. The fans moved to the football field to watch the match-up between the Trinity Prep Saints and the Clearwater Central Catholic Marauders. Alumni viewed the proceedings from their own special viewing area behind the end zone at the south end of Hubbard Field under the tent! Class floats, presentation of current middle school children of alumni parents and the Homecoming Court, and the crowning of the Homecoming Queen and King provided the half-time entertainment. Reunions and refreshments rounded out the evening, and alumni in attendance agreed that the Homecoming Alumni Tent is a great addition to the tradition! Go Saints! 16
