PAGE 4 NINTH ANNUAL ROUTE 66 DAYS CHARITY CAR SHOW A COMPLETE SUCCESS! On a bright sunny September 7th morning, 462 classic cars rolled into the ROUTE 66 DAYS CAR SHOW in downtown Flagstaff. These fantastic cars (and trailers), took over Aspen, Birch and Laroux and provided a phenomenal cross section of automotive history. It was only toward the end of the Awards Ceremony that the last few awards were accompanied by one of Flagstaff s famous rain downpours which prompted John Fajardo to close the event with the words Thanks for coming to the Route 66 Days Car Show; The car wash is free!.
