We are so excited that you are interested in trying out for cheerleading at North Garland High School! Being a part of a spirit organization is one of the best ways to get involved in high school. NGHS cheerleaders cheer at football games, boys and girls basketball games, volleyball games and more! Each year we get the chance to attend and cheer in the Labor Day parade in downtown Garland. We are also the hosts of the pep rallies each semester. Being a cheerleader means that you will maintain responsibility, integrity, and drive throughout the school year. During the 2018-2019 school year, we have the goal to work on team bonding and improving our skill sets. We encourage you to try out even if you have no prior experience; all you need is a positive attitude, the rest can be learned. Please let one of us know if you have any questions or concerns!
