Joining Team RP for a running event is a fantastic way to support RP Fighting Blindness whilst challenging yourself, getting fit and receiving a medal at the end of it to showcase your achievement! We have charity places in running events up and down the country, so whether you are looking to take on a 5k run or a full marathon, we have the race for you! The new annual half marathon every elite athlete wants to win! Join the RP fighting squad by becoming a Superhero for the day at the Superhero Run! Thousands of Superheroes will come together in Regents Park in London to run either 5k or 10k! Costumes are provided or you can wear your own! This is a great event for all abilities, children over 8 are welcome and you can even bring your dog!

The Great North Run is the biggest half marathon in the world. The 13.1 mile run is between Newcastle upon Tyne and South Shields and was devised by former Olympic 10,000m bronze medallist and BBC Sport commentator Brendan Foster.

From the Sahara Desert to the glaciers of Iceland, over the years the RP Trekkers have taken on some fantastic challenges and raised a phenomenal amount of money. This year s trek promises to be another unforgettable experience, so get in touch today to join the adventure of the West Highland Way!
The West Highland Way is a seven day trek which takes in the stunning landscapes between Milngavie and Fort William. The trek is 93 miles long in total, and as a team you will follow the incredible route across the Scottish Highlands, finishing with a celebration meal on the last day. The West Highland Way is an incredible challenge, a great way to meet new friends, work as a team and experience the breathtaking beauty that the UK has to offer. Whether you are fully sighted or visually impaired, you can do this! We will be there to support you all the way with both your training and fundraising. In 2016, RP Fighting Blindness fundraisers trekked Kilimanjaro and Iceland! This year we even have a couple embarking on a worldwide walk for RP Fighting Blindness! Extreme Challenges! Fancy pushing yourself to the extreme? Then we have the challenge for you! Whether you want to jump out of a plane or take on an obstacle race, we can help you to make your extreme dream a reality! Heroes are made not born. The aim of the Bear Grylls Survival Races is to inspire a positive never say die attitude to the next generation of adventurers. Starting at a 5k distance, you will overcome obstacles and challenges to become a BG Survivor! Various dates and locations available. Various dates and locations available. Tough Mudder is a 10-12 mile mud and obstacle course designed to drag you out of your comfort zone by testing your physical strength, stamina, and mental grit. It s a challenge that emphasizes teamwork, camaraderie and accomplishing something almost as tough as you are.
Imagine standing at the edge of an open doorway in an aircraft flying at 10,000 ft - the noise of the engines and the wind ringing in your ears with only the outline of distant fields below. Now imagine leaning forward out of that doorway and letting go - falling forward into the clouds, diving down through the air as you start freefalling at over 120mph!
