Yulong Sheng Long Fractious in the barrier stalls prior to the race and after undergoing a veterinary examination was passed fit to start. Raced keenly in the early stages. Lay outwards rounding the home turn. Benny Goes Berzerk After being loaded into the barriers, got its off hind leg up momentarily, then underwent a pre race veterinary examination and was passed fit to start. Severely hampered at the start when buffeted between Whyouask and Party Bag which jumped out. Whyouask Bumped on jumping away and lost ground. Can Get A Witness Slow to begin. Party Bag Raced wide for the majority of the event. Performed below market expectations. Rider Daniel Stackhouse could offer no explanation for the disappointing performance. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Subsequent to the race Daniel Stackhouse was examined by the RV Doctor and was passed fit to fulfil his remaining engagements. Race 2 two tarts plate (1) - 1200 metres: Enconti Stable representative advised it was intended for the filly to be ridden further forward. Led and was ridden accordingly. Tempting Time Slow to begin. Speed Esprit Commenced awkwardly. Gold Divine Raced keenly in the early stages and after steadying out to avoid heels near the 700m raced wide from then on. Moscow Lady Raced wide without cover for the majority of the event. Robin The Rich Was inclined to lay inwards under pressure in the early stages of the straight. Graduate Began awkwardly. A post race veterinary examination of the gelding which performed poorly revealed no abnormalities.

Out Of Mind Mark Pegus was fined $200 for failing to fulfil his engagement due to being overweight and was subsequently replaced. Rider Linda Meech stated that in her opinion the mare failed to handle the heavy track conditions. Vein Choice Shortly after the start attempted to buck and as a result lost ground with the filly getting its head up on several occasions shortly after. Trainer Mark Thomas was notified that prior to racing again the filly must trial to the satisfaction of Stewards. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Disseminate Got its head up in the early stages when being restrained to gain cover passing the 1000m. Continued to over race for some distance following. Performed below market expectations. Rider Cory Parish stated that the filly travelled well however when placed under pressure failed to handle the Heavy 9 track conditions. A post race veterinary examination revealed the filly to be lame in the near foreleg. Stable representative was notified that prior to racing again they must be in receipt of a veterinary certificate of soundness. Thunder Gun Raced wide without cover for the majority of the event. Lay out under pressure over the concluding stages. Talk Of California Rider Jack Hill reported that in his opinion the mare did not appreciate todays Heavy 9 track conditions. Race 4 border inn sv 3yo plate - 1400 metres: Rock And Go (NZ) Slow to begin. Caribbean Queen (NZ) Commenced awkwardly. Karpacz Got its head up when being restrained to gain cover in the early stages. Harason Had to be eased when racing keenly near the 900m.

Ingenious Prior to rounding the home turn was bumped on the hindquarters by Caribbean Queen (NZ) which shifted out. Brave Bow Raced wide without cover for the majority of the event. Traffic Cop Raced wide without cover for the majority of the event. Hampered approaching the 200m by Favourite Sister (Ryan Maloney) which shifted out to improve before being straightened by its rider. Ryan Maloney was notified to exercise far greater care when permitting his mount to shift ground in similar circumstances. Rider Jake Duffy stated that after being caught wide for the majority of the event, failed to finish off. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Northwood Thunder When giving ground in the home straight, shifted in approaching the 200m before laying out and appeared to dip. Dineamic Lad Rider Jacob Rule when questioned in relation to the disappointing performance stated that his mount over raced in the early stages, however could offer no further explanation for the disappointing performance. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Race 5 1print handicap - 1600 metres: Mako Bay Overraced in the early and middle stages. Raced wide without cover for the majority of the event. Gala Princess Slow to begin. When questioned regarding the disappointing performance rider Linda Meech stated that after being slow into stride, settled near the rear of the field and when asked to improve was one paced. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Bian Late Had to be eased when crowded approaching the 500m between Almaviv and Shark Magic which was racing tightly to the inside of Mako Bay. Catechesis Rider Patrick Holmes stated that in his opinion the mare failed to handle the Heavy 9 track conditions. Another Martini - Rider Andrew Mallyon reported that his mount failed to handle the Heavy 9 track conditions. Subsequent to the race Daniel Stackhouse was examined by the RV Doctor and was deemed unfit to fulfil his remaining engagements. Race 6 laser electrical handicap - 2100 metres: Tralee Chorus (NZ) - Stable representative notified it was intended for the mare to be ridden further forward from the favourable draw. Settled in a midfield position.

Despite the efforts of its rider to urge it along after being slightly slow to begin was unable to settle in a forward position, eventually racing in a worse than midfield position. Rider Jordan Childs lodged an objection against Desert Samurai (Cory Parish) being declared the winner on the grounds of alleged interference rounding the home turn. It was established that rounding the home turn Desert Samurai shifted out to obtain a position between Cisco Delago and Golden Coin (NZ) where there was doubtful room making contact with the hindquarters of Golden Coin (NZ) resulting in the runners making contact on a number of occasions. As Stewards were not satisfied bearing in mind the margin of a long neck, that had the incident not taken place Golden Coin (NZ) would have finished in front of Desert Samurai and therefore dismissed the objection. Stewards nonetheless severely reprimanded rider Cory Parish for attempting to obtain a position where there was insufficient room. Desert Samurai After bumping with Golden Coin (NZ) rounding the home turn, raced in restricted room to that geldings inside in the early stages of the straight. Soul Glo Rider Rose Pearson accidentally dropped her whip near the 100m. Golden Coin (NZ) Lost an off fore plate during the race. Stynes Rider Linda Meech stated that in her opinion that the gelding did not handle todays Heavy 9 track conditions. Race 8 moama bowling club handicap (1) - 1200 metres: Duro Canyon Crowded for room on jumping away between Abolish and Say Youre Sorry which jumped in at the start. Rounding the home turn when making ground had to be steadied outwards when it improved up onto the heels of Dont Kel Yamemma. Hunted Got its head up when being restrained to avoid the heels of Up And Downs (Jake Duffy) which shifted in. Jake Duffy was advised to show greater caution in similar circumstances. Drawn To You Raced keenly in the early and middle stages and near the 1000m improved up onto the heels of Up And Downs clipping that mares heels. Performed below market expectations. When questioned regarding the performance which was below market expectations, rider Brooke Sweeney stated that her mount raced keenly in the early stages and after clipping a heel passing the 1000m her mount was inclined to race fiercely, however she was satisfied with how the filly finished the event off. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. GDay Blue Raced wide without cover for the majority of the event. Say Youre Sorry Raced wide without cover for the majority of the event. Race 9 welcome to the team leigh handicap (2) - 1200 metres: Strike Action After being loaded into its barrier stall got its leg up momentarily and after undergoing a veterinary examination was passed fit to start. Pieceofeight Slow to begin. Near the 500m was awkwardly placed between Adalita and Parmalove before being steadied by its rider. Ragtime Slow to begin. Ahsha - Raced wide without cover for the majority of the event. Venomous Clive Passing the 700m had to be eased when crowded by Strike Action which had been taken inwards by Jay Venture. Sneferu Held up round the home turn and until passing the 200m. Adalita Performed below market expectations. Rider Jack Hill stated that in his opinion the filly did not appreciate todays Heavy 9 track conditions. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Jay Venture Performed below market expectations. Rider Harry Coffey when questioned in relation to the performance today after beginning well the filly was under pressure throughout

the event on the heavy track and as a result failed to finish the event off. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. My Friend Stan Rider Chris Nicoll stated that he had not intended to lead on the gelding which was first up today, however after beginning well the gelding raced fresh and as a result lead in todays event. Princess Shevah Rider Ibrahim Gundogdu stated that the mare failed to handle todays Heavy 9 track conditions. Race 10 echuca newsagency handicap - 1400 metres: Go Down Raced wide without cover for the majority of the event. Phantom Eagle Raced wide without cover for the majority of the event and was taken wider near the 500m by East Afrika which shifted out to improve. Mighty Halo Raced wide from the 800m without cover. Palmera Lad Near the 150m was momentarily hampered by Corporate Takeover which shifted out. Rider Brad Rawiller stated that the gelding was obliged to race on what was in his opinion the inferior section of the track in the early stages and this was detrimental to the geldings performance. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Rosielu Slow to begin. Rider Linda Meech stated that the mare which was second up today would benefit from the performance as with the heavy track conditions it tired over the final stages. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Corporate Takeover When making ground was steadied to avoid the heels of Go Down (Cory Parish) which shifted in, after initially being taken out slightly by Rosielu which in turn had been carried out by Native Warrior. Cory Parish was advised to show greater caution in similar circumstances. Honey Bunch On straightening had to be eased when crowded for room between Kookiecutter which shifted out slightly away from Corporate Takeover which also shifted out slightly and Palmera Lad which shifted in slightly. Make Mine Brandy (NZ) Tactics questioned. Rider Brooke Sweeney stated that she was instructed to ride the mare where it felt comfortable and that after being caught wide she elected to go forward and take up a position outside the leader. She further added that after finding that position the mare raced keenly so she elected to continue to press forward and attempt to lead which she was unable to achieve thereby settling in a leading position one off the fence.
