Honey Bunch On straightening had to be eased when crowded for room between Kookiecutter which shifted out slightly away from Corporate Takeover which also shifted out slightly and Palmera Lad which shifted in slightly. Rider Brooke Sweeney stated that she was instructed to ride the mare where it felt comfortable and that after being caught wide she elected to go forward and take up a position outside the leader. She further added that after finding that position the mare raced keenly so she elected to continue to press forward and attempt to lead which she was unable to achieve thereby settling in a leading position one off the fence.
