TRAINING PROGRAMME 2 indoor venues will be available for training Sportica - Boulevard de l'europe, 59820 Gravelines Located in Gravelines, next to the venue and the hotels, this 25m pool offers the perfect balance between quality standards and proximity. Piscine Paul Asseman 1 place Paul Asseman, 59240 Dunkerque Located in Dunkerque, 25 km away from the competition venue, this long course pool is used to high level competitions and athletes. It had been the theatre of French Olympic Trials in 2004, 2008 and 2012. Training schedule from Monday 28 th May to Saturday 2 nd June Both pools will be open to accredited athletes every days 07h00-09h00 in the morning 18h00-20h30 in the evening Shuttles will be set up to drive you to the training pools. The PAarc (competition venue) will also be open to Teams training For security reasons the competition venue will be open to training only according to the following schedule: Training schedule from Monday 28 th to Wednesday 30rd 10h00 12h00 in the morning 15h00 17h00 in the afternoon Shuttles will be set up to drive you to the training pools.
COMPETITION MAP FEEDING INFORMATION Important information regarding feeding In the interest of preserving the environment, and according to the decision taken by the LEN Bureau in Malta (MLT) on March 17 th 2018 on the occasion of the LEN Bureau Meeting, the use of biodegradable cups will be compulsory. Any other container (plastic bottles or cups) will be strictly forbidden on the feeding pontoon. The Organizer will provide all participants with 2 sizes of authorized cups. PRIZE MONEY The Top 3 swimmers, male and female, European or not, will be rewarded by LEN for a total amount of 10 000, allocated as follow: : 2 500 : 1 500 : 1 000
ACCOMMODATION Welcome to Gravelines! The Organizing Committee set up Accommodation packs which include a large choice of hotels in Gravelines from 2 to 4 stars on a full board basis. All hotels are located within 20 minutes from the Venue. The availability in the various categories is limited, therefore the rooms booking will be done on a first-come first-served basis. The deadline to finalize the booking and forward your Final Accommodation Booking Form will be on Sunday, April 22 nd 2018. Cancellation policy No cancellation fee before April 15 th, 2018. Cancellation fee of 50% of the amount from April 15 th to April 30 th, 2018 No refund after April 30 th, 2018 Payment policy A deposit of the 30% of the total amount will be necessary to complete the reservation. The reservation is not completed until the deposit has been paid. The total amount of the reservation must be paid by 31 st May 2018.
TRANSPORT The Organizing Committee is taking care of the Local Transportation. It includes ground transfers from official airport or train station and competition shuttles. Transfers: a warm and professional welcome will be organized at the official airports and/or at the train stations in Dunkerque or Calais, on your arrival and for your departure. Shuttles: Shuttles will be organized to drive you from your hotels toward the competition venue and the training pools every day, from Monday May 28 th till Sunday June 3 rd, according to a pre-established schedule. OFFICIAL AIRPORTS The Lille Lesquin Airport and Bruxelles National will be the official airports of the competition. The LOC can also set up charged transfers from Charleroi-Bruxelles-Sud if it is more convenient for your delegation. Please contact the LOC with your flight details in order to get cost estimates for such trips. Please note that Lille Airport is 1h away from Gravelines, Bruxelles National is 2h away from Gravelines and Charleroi is 2h30 away from Gravelines. OFFICAL TRAIN STATIONS You can also reach Gravelines by train and we ll be happy to welcome you at the Calais International Train Station (where Eurostars are arriving straight from London) and Dunkerque Train Station easily reachable from Paris.
