The dance was written as a Phase II Waltz at the request of the 56th National Dance Convention round dance committee as an effort to emphasize easier dances for the convention. The dance was Showcased and taught at the convention in Charlotte, North Carolina in June of 2007. Just for You IV is a Phase IV Waltz by Betty and Al Hamilton. Mary s Boy Child is a Phase IV Slow Two Step by Betty and Al Hamilton. This dance was written to the music Mary s Boy Child as performed by Harry Belafonte. This Christmas theme dance was released in October of 2006. Quicksilver Waltz is a Phase II+l+l Waltz by Betty and Al Hamilton. This dance was written to the music Wednesday s Child played by the Dancing Strings on Roper Records. The dance has an un-phased figure, Rotary Box, where the lady transitions to the same foot work as the man, and they both dance a left turning box, which causes them to rotate around each other. The name of the dance arose this way: there already was a dance named Wednesday s Child so we chose not to use that name. Wednesday in French is Mercredi which means day of Mercury (Wikipedia). Another name for mercury is quicksilver (Wikipedia). So we named the dance Quicksilver Waltz. The dance was released in 1999 and Showcased and taught at the National Dance Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana in June of that year. Sealed with a Kiss is a Phase III+2 Bolero by Betty and Al Hamilton. This dance was written to the music Sealed with a Kiss as sung by Bobby Vinton. This dance was released in June of 2000. This Christmas theme dance has been used by Betty at Square Dance Clubs since 1994 but has never been released because the record is no longer available. The Lovers Waltz is a Phase IV+0+2 Waltz by Betty and Al Hamilton. This dance was written to the music The Lovers Waltz (duet) as played by Jay Ungar & Molly Mason. This dance was over a year in the making. We first heard the music played as special music in a church service and we were both taken by the lovely melody. We envisioned a dance telling a story of a couple from their first tentative meeting through a growing closeness to a final commitment. The first part of the dance finds the couple touching and pulling away only to come together again and again. The second part of the dance finds the couple together more but often facing in the same direction and not each other. As the dance progresses, the dancers finds themselves more often in closed position and dancing more difficult figures until in the end they th embrace. The dance was shown and taught at the 60 National Dance Convention in Detroit in May of 2011. Page 4 of 5

This dance was released in April of 2012 and was shown and taught at both the Ohio and National Conventions that year. The dance uses common Phase I through Phase IV figures to 6/8 time. You Can't Have It All is a Phase II Waltz by Betty Ackerman Hamilton. This dance was written to the music You Can't Have It All as sung by Alan Jackson. This dance was released in 1994 and is the first dance released by Betty, then using the name Betty Ackerman. She had the honor of showing this dance to Charlie Proctor at Kirkwood Lodge, before it was published. He approved of the choreography and encouraged her to continue writing dances.
