Jockey A.Imran Khan the rider of REGAL TRIBUTE was fined a sum of Rs.5000/- for excessive use of the whip. Apprentice Jockey Shamse Raja the rider of SHIVALIK was cautioned for not making sufficient efforts after passing the 700 metres. 2. THE PODHIGAI MALAI PLATE: (RACE NO:34) : A HANDICAP FOR HORSES RATED (40 TO 65) DISTANCE (ABOUT) 1100 METRES Jockey Deepak Singh being indisposed he was permitted to be substituted by Jockey G.Manikandan on VALERIAN STEEL. GREEN STRIKER (Saddam Hussain) jumped out throwing his head up due to which the jockey got unbalanced and hence lost considerable ground. Trainer Fahad Khan was advised to show his charge at gate practise to the satisfaction of the Starter before accepting with it again. Immediately after the start the Sheep Skin Nose Band on PINEWOOD (R.Vaibhav) came out towards the inside and obstructed the vision of the filly due to which the filly was trying to run out, at about the 650 metres the jockey had to ultimately pull out the Sheep Skin Nose Band. Trainer K.S.Mandanna was fined a sum of Rs.2000/- for faulty equipment. 3. THE GOVERNOR S GOLD CUP : (RACE NO:35) : A HANDICAP FOR HORSES RATED (60 & ABOVE) DISTANCE (ABOUT) 1600 METRES Jockey Akshay Kumar the rider of CHIEF OF COMMAND was cautioned for shifting out and forcing out CORIOLIS (Md.Hesnain) after travelling about 100 metres from the start. 4. PERFECT SUPPORT (M.Bhaskar) was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds (lame on left fore).trainer K.S.Mandanna deputizing for trainer M.M.Uthaiah was advised to get his charge certifited fit by the Club s Senior Veterinary officer before accepting with it again. GORGEOUS QUEEN (P.Ajeet Kumar) lost about 3 lengths at the start. Jockey Akshay Kumar the rider of TUDOR TREASURE was fined a sum of Rs.2000/- for shifting in passing the 800 metres due to which Jockey Saddam Hussain the rider of COUNTRY S GRACE had to check his mount and shifted out. 7. While negotiating the bend at about the 850 metres Jockey N.Murugan the rider of PHANTOM OF STARS in trying to control his mount shifted out and caused a check to HELIX (Akshay Kumar). WESTERN FLEET (C.Umesh) returned bleeding from both nostrils after the race.
