Komen Ozark Affiliate will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Shadow Valley Country Club. This year s event has two honorary co-chairs: Andy Barron and Jack Sinclair. We will have a morning flight with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. and an afternoon flight with a 1:30 p.m. shotgun start. In the spirit of competition, we will have an "Andy vs. Jack" contest with the group raising the most sponsorship money earning a 1 stroke advantage.* So make sure to indicate which team you want your money going toward; Andy, Jack or split it 50/50. We hope to have a great day of golf and raise a lot of money! The event will kick off with a Friday night Sponsor Reception on October 14th at 6:00 p.m. Over the past 10 years, the Susan G. Komen Ozark Affiliate has raised over $8M with $6M staying in our local service area providing education, screening and treatment. The remaining $2M has been invested in life saving research; adding to the $610M that Komen National has invested in finding a cure for breast cancer.
