For the purpose of this entire section, the following definitions will apply. Maiden: a horse or rider which has never won a first prize (excluding teams) at any agricultural show. Novice: a horse or rider which has not won an open champion or first at a royal show excepting maiden events. Galloway: Galloway is a horse measuring over 4hh but not exceeding 5hh. ll horses must be free of hereditary disease. ll riders must be neatly attired. ny contestant who, in the opinion of the Stewards, is not suitably attired, shall be precluded from competing in an event. Entrants in dult events must be 8 years or over. Entrants in hildren s or Pony events must be under 8 years of age. For hampionship events, first in the class only is eligible for the championship. Second prize winners in such classes to be held ready then after champion has been selected, the second in to compete for the reserve champion. local rider/horse is defined as a resident within the boundaries of the Paroo & Bulloo Shires for three months prior to the Show. In all rider classes, jumping and sporting events, competitors are eligible only to compete in their age groups. ll horses and riders are to compete under the guidelines and conditions of the Equestrian Federation of ustralia. In show jumping events, riders may compete on more than horse, however a horse may not be shared by competitors in the same class. In all events rider must wear a safety helmet of approved ustralian Standards. Points to be allocated from relevant events will be as follows: First 5 points, Second 3 points, Third point. In the event of a tie, a count back of the greatest number of firsts shall determine the winner. No points for hampion, Reserve or Pairs Events. The Judge s and Steward s decision shall be final.
