AMERICAN AgCREDIT YOUTH LIVESTOCK AWARDS American AgCredit Services sponsors these Youth Livestock Awards for the most educational exhibits and cleanest stalls or pen/alley. They are presented to clubs that create and maintain the neatest and cleanest display throughout the Fair. Each display must have a sign with exhibitor s name and town. It is suggested the Fair theme, All Aboard! A Salute to our Coastal Hertiage Club winners will have their choice of barn stall/pens for 2015 Fair. Club must call livestock superintendent at least 1 week before fair to request spot or option to choose will be forfeited. DAIRY REPLACEMENT DOE SALE SATURDAY, AUGUST 29 after Heifer Sale Humboldt County Fair is proud to be the first California fair to hold an auction for dairy replacement does. Patterned after the Dairy Replacement Heifer Sale, this auction allows youths interested in the rapidly growing dairy goat industry to raise and sell quality animals. These does are American or Purebred dairy goats, certified CAE negative, provided through the cooperation of Northern California dairy goat breeders. Goats must be shown in Div. 430 to sell. Please specify sale animal on entry form. Exhibitors of grand champion and reserve champion may sell another animal in the Junior Livestock Auction.
