Show jumping Owners Partnerships with Amy Graham and Haras du Ry
What is a show jumping owner partnership? Partnerships and syndicates have long been a part of the racing world. Today, with the costs involved in purchasing top level competition horses, various forms of joint ownership are becoming more popular in all equine disciplines, and particularly in show jumping. A show jumping partnership enables investors to own a part of a show jumping horse at a fraction of the cost. The Show Jumping Owners Partnership (herein after known as the Partnership has a purchase cost based on 1 or more 4% ownership shares. The Partnership will be fully subscribed with 25 shares of 4% value for each share with the Partnership owning 1 young grand prix horse. This makes sport horse ownership and involvement attractive, exciting and affordable for a wider range of people. Note that the 2014 world championships saw the show jumping individual gold medal won by Jeroen Dubbledam from the Netherlands. His horse was supported at the championships by 25 of his 88 owners!

Haras du Ry GFA & Amy Graham agree to manage the horse competently and correctly to build value for sale. The Partnership will be advised when a horse is considered to be ready for sale to achieve a return on investment. It is important to note that if a horse did not continue to show progress as expected it should be sold. Remembering that it doesn t cost any more to train, agist and compete a good horse versus an average horse, the Partnership investors would likely be advised to sell the horse. If this is the case sale funds will be used to purchase a replacement horse for the Partnership. The selection of a replacement horse is at the discretion of Amy Graham

Why do we offer the show jumping owners Partnership with Amy Graham and Haras du Ry Amy Graham has been competing in Europe on the international show jumping circuit for 8 years. In this time Amy has proven her ability to train and compete at the highest level. Representing Australia with Bella Baloubet she was reserve at the 2012 London Olympics and competed in the Australian Team at the World Equestrian Games in 2014, finishing in the Top 100 riders. Amy and Bella Baloubet were the best performed team members in the Furaysia Challenge Cup at the 2014 Nations Cup Final in Barcelona, Spain where Australia finished second to USA. Amy and Bella produced 2 faultless rounds. Amy & Bella then continued to win 4 & 5* Grand Prix competitions throughout Europe until the sale of Bella in early 2015. The most important criteria for a long term successfully competitive show jumping rider is to produce, compete and sell high quality horses on a continuous basis. This enables a return for investors as well as sufficient horses for elite level competition. However the most difficult aspect of this criteria is to start the cycle of horses as young riders don t have the financial capacity to be able to purchase the first horses in the team to enable creation of a self-perpetuating fund.
Show jumping Owners Partnership : How do we progress? We can promise that your show jumping owners Partnership will be an exciting experience! Horse purchase funds will be placed in a Partnership Trust account. As sufficient funds are secured a horse will be purchased. The initial thrill of the hunt to find your Partnership horse is an exciting process in itself. We will keep you updated with reports and videos of horses as they are tried. You will receive full details of the horse selected for purchase. The Partnership horse will be located at Haras du Ry and you will receive regular updates on training and progress via your private closed Face Book page As an owner you will be named on the formal registration and passport documents for the horse. You will have the opportunity to watch your horse compete at summer and winter shows each year on the European show jumping circuit, allowing you to fully participate in the atmosphere and excitement of the show. Amy Graham will also actively seek to represent Australia at Olympic Games, Nations Cups & World Championships if a horse is of championship standard. Owners in the Partnership are welcome to visit their horse at our training facility in France at any time subject to advising us you are coming. Purchasing your Partnership horse Our relationships with European breeders, riders and agents provides us with a very extensive network of trusted contacts to select young horses with the potential to develop into top class performers. A 4% share of the Partnership horse is AU$30,000. Normally this horse is a 7-9yo showing strong grand prix potential. This is a very exciting level of horse to purchase as you will normally see rapid improvement from 2*-5* Grand Prix within 1-2 years There are no limits to the number of 4% shares an individual or business can purchase up to the full maximum value of the Partnership of AU$750,000 being 25 shares. Note that Haras du Ry will own 1 share totalling 4% and will pay $30,000 for the 1 share as well as monthly costs.
Return on Investment- selling the Partnership horse It is very easy to research the current show jumping market and see that sale prices can be several million euro for reliable and experienced Grand Prix horses. Bella Baloubet sold for Euro 2,000,000. It is for this reason that the Partnership intends to purchase a younger and less experienced horse and then educate the horse over a number of years to maximise the potential sale price. The partnership will be advised of the right time to sell the horse to maximise return. The most competitive sale periods are the year before an Olympics or World Championships with an elite horse holding value up to 15 years of age depending on soundness? It must however, be noted that horses are a speculative investment. You have the right to sell your share at any time, however you are not guaranteed to achieve a positive return on your investment as the horse may not be ready for sale at your chosen time. It is your responsibility to secure a sale of your share in these circumstances. Haras du Ry is only responsible for the sale at the time we consider the horse is ready for sale to achieve maximum return. Any new owner must agree to pay the monthly maintenance cost or this cost will remain your responsibility. The European International show jumping circuit has considerable prize money in the 2-5* classes. Haras du Ry retains 50% of all prize money earned with the remaining funds held in a trust fund and distributed to Partnership owners twice per year. Haras du Ry reserves the right to select competitions that it considers appropriate to the horse at each stage of its career. It is important to note that investment return from prize money is speculative. All entry fees are included in your monthly management fee. Sale of a horse in the Partnership package is the normal method of achieving a return on investment. As it is the intention of a partnership to achieve a return on investment, Partnership horses are always for sale when they are appropriately educated. Profit from the sale of a horse is distributed to Partnership owners after payment of 10% commission on sale to Haras du Ry GFA Your monthly management costs cease with the sale of a horse.
Dispute resolution The management team of the Partnership will make every effort to ensure any concerns are dealt with quickly and competently. All queries will be responded to in writing via email. Should a dispute occur that cannot be resolved, the Partnership owner with the dispute has the right to sell their share of the Partnership on the open market for the current market value, but is responsible for monthly costs until the horse is sold and costs are transferred to the new owner. Ongoing Investment Note that each horse is a separate partnership investment. Any further investment would be to a new partnership group.
