Conditions of Entry 1. Information on the prize and how to enter form part of these Conditions of Entry. 2. Entry is open to Australian residents over the age of 18. 3. The Promoter is Queensland Rugby Union ABN 71 279 532 073. Employees of Queensland Rugby Union, Hyundai and their immediate families are not permitted to enter. Duration of the Promotion 4. The marketing of the promotion will commence at 12:01am (AEST) on Sunday, 25 th February 2018. 5. The promotion will close at 10:00pm (AEST) on Friday, 13 July 2018.
How to Enter 6. The winner at each home game will be advised that they are 1 of 8 people who will be invited back to Suncorp Stadium for the final St.George Queensland Reds Home on Saturday 13 th July 2018 where they will be given the opportunity to be to sole prize winner of one (1) Hyundai i30sr vehicle. Total prize value including on road costs of $33,197.00. How the winner will be identified Each weekly winner will be asked to pick a key randomly from a barrel containing eight (8) car keys. One (1) key will be enabled to activate the unlock mechanism in the key the remaining seven (7) keys disabled. Each home game winner will be asked one by one to press a specific button on their key until the one (1) enabled key unlocks the vehicle. The person in possession of this key will be identified as the overall competition winner.
8. General terms and conditions for this prize are; i. The prize is strictly non-transferable, non-negotiable, may not be replaced or refunded and cannot be taken as cash. ii. No cash refund or reimbursement allowed if not utilised. iii. Colour of the car may vary dependent on supplier availability. Prize Draws 9. Details on each occupied paid seat at each of these matches will be exported into an excel spreadsheet for the draw. The number range of entries be entered into the randomiser and it will be asked to select one (1) random entry from that range. This seat will then be announced by the General Announcer and the person in that seat, proved they meet all the eligibility criteria, will be identified as one (1) of the eight (8) key holders who will be given the opportunity to return to the final home match on Saturday 13 th July 2018 to participate in the opportunity to unlock one (1) vehicle.
11. In the unlikely event where the final match on Saturday 13 th July 2018 is cancelled, the final key holder draw will be conducted on Saturday 13 th July 2018 at Queensland Rugby Union, 231 Butterfield Street, Herston Q 4006. The winner will be notified by telephone the same day. The final draw will be postponed until Monday 15 th July 2018 and all key holders will be notified of this by telephone and advised that the new location for the final draw will be at Queensland Rugby Union, 231 Butterfield Street, Herston Q 4006. 12. Winner details will be published on www.redsrugby.com.au by 15 th July 2018. No liability 13. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible or liable for: i. Inaccurate / incorrect transcription of entry information; ii. any problems or technical failures of any kind, including malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems or network, servers or providers, computer equipment, or software; iii. Unauthorised human intervention in any part of the competition; iv. Electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the competition; v. any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to a prize winner and, where applicable, to any family/persons accompanying a winner; or vi. any injury or damage to persons or property, including to the participant's or any other person's computer related to, or resulting from, participation or downloading any materials in this competition. 14. These conditions do not affect, and are not intended to affect, any rights a consumer might have, which cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any liability of the Promoter or its servant or agents for breach of any such rights is limited to the payment of the cost of having the prize supplied again. Unclaimed Prize 15. For the key holder draw at each home game, in the event where the randomly chosen seat is unoccupied the promoter will seek to identify a person who is known to the seat occupier. Should all measures of locating the seat occupier be exhausted, the promoter will proceed to conduct an alternate draw directly following the fulltime whistle. 16. For the major draw at the final home match on Saturday 13 th July 2018, in the event where the key holder is unable to attend they are permitted to send a chosen proxy in their place. Prior written notice a minimum of one (1) week before the match is required and the chosen proxy will be required to show proof of identity prior to the final draw taking place. Should a key holder or their chosen proxy fail to attend Queensland Rugby Union reserve the right to conduct a redraw as they see fit, or to simply reduce the number of key holders' in the major draw by the number that failed to attend.
17. By entering this competition entrants are agreeing to receive occasional marketing correspondence from Queensland Rugby Union and its affiliated brands. Any & all correspondence received by the entrant will include a clear unsubscribe facility. 18. The prize winners consent to the use of their name, suburb of residence and image for promotional and marketing purposes and agree to participate in reasonable promotional activities as requested by the Promoter. 19. If there is an event beyond the Promoter s reasonable control which prevents or hinders the conduct of the promotion or the Promoter s ability to deliver the prize to the winner, then the Promoter subject to regulatory authority approval may in its sole discretion cancel the promotion. Further the Promoter may at its sole discretion recommence the promotion under the same conditions. 20. Agreeing to accept a key holder prize is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. 21. The Promoter may at its discretion refuse to award any prize to any entrant who fails to comply with these conditions of entry. 22. The Promoter s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Promoter s Details 23. The personal information of entrants will be collected to enable the Promoter to administer and promote this competition and its winners and may be used to market its services to the entrants. The personal information of the entrants will be held and used in accordance with the Promoter s privacy. The personal information of winners may be provided to others assisting, including prize suppliers and deliverers, and to authorities that regulate this competition. In the event that entrants decide to opt out of receiving information on promotions, services and market research provided by Queensland Rugby Union they can email marketing@redsrugby.com.au or contact the Head Office on 07 3354 9333. If an entrant does not truthfully provide all requested personal information, the Promoter may determine that they are not eligible to win the prize.
