Introduction Congratulations PCNA after playing the preliminary finals last Saturday we have 8 teams playing in grand final matches contesting for the Premiership! Well done to all players who played in the preliminary finals in the wet and windy conditions on Saturday and continued to perform with 100% effort until the end of the match. To a small number of PCNA teams the final result was not what they had hoped for, however it is important for players to reflect back over the entire season and acknowledge that you and the team have achieved many successes along the way to be able to reach the finals and to be proud of your achievement! Congratulations at all coaches on your continued strength and guidance to the players. Players and parents are reminded that the coach will aim to make the best decisions for the team on the day and it may be that players do not have equal court time in finals matches. The PNA Grand Finals are here! Congratulations to all grand final teams: Year 10 PC Green, Year 10 PC Mint, Year 9 PC Ebony, Year 9 PC Magenta, Year 9 PC Lavender, Year 8 PC Black, Year 8 PC Purple, Year 8 PC Peach. Good luck on Saturday! Sunday we celebrate our wonderful season of netball. On Sunday evening 20 September 5.30pm 9.00pm, we celebrate with the end of season presentation and wind up. This is a fabulous night and it s wonderful to see so many PCNA players attending and sharing in the fun, presentations and dancing! Good luck on Saturday! 2015 FINALS Playing in Finals Player rotation We wish all players the very best for the upcoming finals. The finals matches can be quite different to season matches as both teams are very competitive and determined to win the match. It is important for players and parents to be aware that although coaches will endeavour to give equal court time to players during the finals, this does not always occur. The coach will make the best decision for the team on the day and it may be that players do not have equal court time in finals matches. Arrival time Players, please arrive at your court 30 minutes before your finals match commences. If you are running late or caught in traffic send a message to your coach to prewarn them. Spectators for Finals bring your FAMILY and FRIENDS along! Being at finals is very exciting! Please encourage as many of your friends and family as possible to come to Matthews on Saturday to support your team. We would like to create a great Perth College atmosphere at the courts and cheer your team to victory. Parents please support PCNA by providing only positive support from the sidelines. Uniform for Finals Important for all players. Please ensure that only the blue shorts are worn under the PCNA dress (no black shorts).if you wear a T-shirt over your dress, please wear the PC navy sports top. However if you need something warmer, wear the PC blue and white track suit top or the white PC windcheater. Keep to Perth College colours! Team Colour Ribbons - In past years many PCNA teams have worn their team colour ribbons in their hair for the finals, we encourage teams to continue with this tradition. Socks for Finals PCNA socks look fabulous with the PCNA dress! If you have PCNA socks can you please wear them for the finals matches. If you would still like to buy socks you can go to http://www.trybooking.com/bcrh to place your order before finals. Final Tips for Finals matches WARM UP Is very important, so do it well! IT'S NOT OVER TILL IT'S OVER Never, Never, Never Give Up! It's OK to FEEL Nervous! Just don't BE Nervous! The TEAM that makes the LEAST ERRORS and scores the MOST GOALS will win the game! Focus on the PROCESS and the RESULT will take care of itself! UMPIRES umpire what they see - they don't win or lose you games!

CONTROL what you can CONTROL! Remember, there's a WAY TO WIN and a WAY TO LOSE...be gracious no matter what! See yourself playing the game well. VISUALISE yourself shooting that goal over a tall defender with long arms. See yourself playing the game well. VISUALISE working your feet quickly to get around an opponent to take an intercept. You NEED your team members always be POSITIVE and ENCOURAGING. Spring Netball Competition at Matthews Perth Netball Association will be running a Spring Netball competition at Matthews Netball centre in Term 4. PCNA encourages players to join this competition but PCNA does not coordinate and register the players. If players are interested in playing in the spring competition we ask parents to coordinate the team and register the teams. Click below for Information and registration application regarding the spring competitions for each year group; Year 7-12 Year 3-6 Photo Gallery PC Apricot is a fantastic team of year seven players who unfortunately had a bad run of injuries this season. They continued to work hard though and their coach Tiyana was really happy with their progress.
