2 Club Reports CSU Items for Voting 4.1 Competiiton Structure Report (November 2015) As discussed at the last meeting clubs were provided with 4 options from which I would have a meeting to discuss if there was any improvements that could be made. C was the most preferred option, so at the informal meeting of the minds that I invited every one too copious times, we came up with 3 variations on C that I would like you to vote on tonight. For all the following are the same: Under 16 on Friday Juniors start 8:30am Vets on Tuesday or Wednesday night, with men and women alternating weeks Option A: with and swapping each week so basically men one week women the next except in division 1. P. 3 Option C: Is identical to A, except as well as rotating each week between water and sand, the time slots would rotate each week as well except division 1 (I.e. Div 2+3) So the time slot in 2pm will go the following week to 3:30 and 3:30 will move till 5 and so on, until the 8pm time slot which will move to 2pm and so it will rotate each week. 5 5.1: CSU playing uniform To the Wagga Wagga Combined Hockey Association, The Hockey Ducks Club are seeking to extend our uniforms transition year for a further few weeks into the 2016 season. We, as the current 2016 executive of our club, understand that Wagga Hockey granted our club a uniform transition year for the 2015 season, with the view to have all players wearing a Petbarn shirt (that is, having the Petbarn logo printed large across the front of the shirt), plain navy short/skirts and plain white socks by the 2016 season. Our Executive are now looking to revamp our club with a change of sponsors and uniform. Unfortunately the quality of the uniform from the supplier was disappointing, and Petbarn are no longer sponsoring our club. For these reasons, we are looking to revamp our uniforms, still keeping our colours of navy, maroon and white. We will be changing our uniform supplier, and therefore be modifying the design of our uniform. At this stage we have no firm design of our proposed uniform, but we are hoping that by the February meeting, Monday 22nd, we will have a firm design we can show to the Association for their consideration. One problem we are looking at changing is the current sock problem we are having with, in that both clubs have predominately white socks. We are planning on having a striped navy and white sock, so as not to clash with other clubs. We are looking at keeping our shorts/skirts navy, as negotiated by the 2015 board. What we are asking from Wagga Hockey, is to allow our club to use the Petbarn uniforms for the first part of the season. As we are predominately a University club, and therefore cannot be sure on our numbers until early March, and as such will not be able to order our uniforms until this time. We anticipate that our new uniforms will arrive in April, and as soon as they arrive we will have all players in this uniform. We can then keep the Petbarn uniforms as an alternate strip, for when and if our club has more than one team in a division and play against each other. So in conclusion, we ask that on Monday 22nd February, Wagga Hockey allow a vote for us to change our uniform, and allow us to use the Petbarn uniform in the interim, anticipating that our new uniform will be available to use at some time in April.
