Page 2 of 10 Test Specimen Description: (Continued) Finish: All aluminum was painted. Glazing Details: The unit was glazed with 1" thick insulating glass constructed of two sheets of 1/4" thick clear tempered glass and a spacer system. The glass was set from the interior against hot melt glazing compound and secured with aluminum snap-in glazing bead with a four fin rubber compression gasket. Frame Construction: The frame was constructed of extruded aluminum. The corners were square-cut, sealed, and secured with #8 x 1-1/2" screws. Installation: The units were installed into a Spruce-Pine-Fir wood test buck. The nail fin was set against a bed of silicone and was secured with #6 x 1-1/4" screws through the nail fin into the buck, 3" from each corner and spaced 13" on center.

Conclusion: Five insulating glass spacer systems were tested for cyclic wind pressure performance in accordance to the client provided test plan. During the testing and at the conclusion of the testing, all five spacer systems performed in a similar manner. It is our opinion that there is no difference in performance of the five insulating glass spacer systems tested.
